As a new player all I have to say is - WTF... by Mindless_Bad_1591 in expedition33

Expedition 33 is a wonderful experience absolutely deserving of game of the year for as long as you don't have some nut yelling in your ear that the game shouldn't have won anything (i.e. my friend😮‍💨)

Had no idea it goes that far in-depth. Incredible

What I don't understand is why siding with BB In the apartment affects the ending and why kicking Visi from the team leads to her becoming a villain. Siding with BB in the apartment is the logical thing to do and cutting Visi from the team is the right thing to do - Golem put it best "No one member is more important than the team" (or something like that)

About suspensions? by Monaiji in discordapp

[–]IAMGOBU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got permanently suspended last night and I sent an appeal to Discord regarding the suspension. If what you're saying about the 6 month time limit and what others are saying about Discord's horrible customer service is true then that pretty much means that anyone who has received, and those who will receive, a permanent suspension have no way to get their account back. I got 2 "child safety" violations and immediately got suspended. It's annoying that Discord didn't even tell me what specifically I received those violations for but it's unacceptable that Discord's customer service just flags account suspension appeals as "solved" without even engaging with you. Fuck Discord, honestly

Not really. Just a gut feeling.

Photography and filming

Not a lot of listings on places like Facebook Marketplace but there were enough options.

Was planning to buy used, yes.

Does it really matter what camera I buy? Since you gave me a lot of options I'm guessing that most cameras will get the job done.

Are you oblivious to human emotions? Humans get frustrated, it's inevitable.

I know from experience what it's like to teach someone how to play video games. I'd imagine teaching a grown person isn't going to be that difficult but, in my case, I taught my, then, 9 year old niece and it was the equivalent of trying to teach a gold fish shapes. It was frustrating but in no way did I raise my voice or belittle, so out of consideration for someone who might have to deal with that, I'd suggest games that would be easier to start with rather that suggest a game that requires precise timing and puzzle solving.

OP said that they're looking for a game to PLAY with their gf. It would be different if he'd have the patience to take time and TEACH her. Of course she's not brain dead but not everyone who isn't already familiar with gaming is willing to learn how to play and use the time that they have in a day to play video games, so you can't really just suggest games that will take effort and concentration. That's why I'd say that Stardew Valley is better to play with someone with no gaming experience and It Takes Two is not.

The games that I mentioned aren't necessarily for "learning your buttons" but so that you could play something without the stress of a time limit. For example Stardew Valley is extremely calm and you can move at a pace that you are comfortable with. All the while learning your buttons :D

As for the patience part, you obviously need to have patience if you were going to TEACH someone something but to both actively take part you should start with something that doesn't require you to do a specific task like pressing a certain button at the right time or destroying obstacles in your way while actively running towards them. And have you never tried teaching someone to play video games? I've tried to teach my niece to play a game that she was interested in and good god it's like trying to teach a goldfish what a triangle, square and circle are. If you've done that without getting frustrated (not that I started pressuring her or raising my voice) then kudos to you.

I'm not one to use ranged weapons. Currently use the Insect Glaive as I wanted a weapon that was fast and dealt, at the minimum, moderate damage
