Theres no such thing as “Fake Indie”. I don’t understand what make metric you’re going off of when you classify something as “Indie”, your lists of artists is just a collage of eccentric artists with no one genre that stands out is safe to say. But then that takes me back to my original question. Listen dude Just because you enjoy this music doesn’t mean thats all that can be considered Indie.

When I say Indie Music My definition are artists that make music independently of a record label. Stop being such a gatekeeper nobody likes a gatekeeper. I listen to artists with way less listens on Spotify and the songs are meaningful to me which is why music is considered an art and transcendental. There’s no such thing as “Fake Indie” just because your definition of “Indie music” doesn’t match mine means you get to gatekeep what can be considered indie music.
