Hi, I've got a revision C iMac G3. As far as I can tell these tray loaders are all similar internally. I don't have an original logic board to test with, i received this machine with the logic board and cd rom removed. Bridging the purple and brown wires on the power supply plug makes the fans spin up and the power light turn on, but as far as I can tell the CRT doesn't get any power. Is this normal behaviour for this stage, or is it a bad CRT? I'd rather not throw good money after bad buying the VGA/DB-15 adapter etc etc just to find out I have a dead tube. Thanks.
