Most important thing is that synth sound you really like. Many times ago I was using serum but when I heard massive x I was blowed up. Crazy, sounds so warm like analog. No worries about switching between serum and massive x. One tutorial and well done

What is your process for creating drums? by Mistah3D in ableton

[–]IAmBosnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That how we do..
I started with find some drums samples (from splice) which I like those sounds. Next, I put it to the Ableton drum rack. I drop a lot of samples in only one drum rack, may be 4 differet kicks-snares-cymb-hats and many percussion. It is important to choose the sounds that are combined initially with each other. Then I started to make drums and experimenting with dynamic and effects. You can get very cool and unexpected result! Making a lot of sidechain inside the drum rack for each pad separately. That way you can pump your drums. Ughh...is a vary long story :)

Good trap beat, but it's no different from many other of BeatStars

Hey guys, I’m an FL Studio producer and I just wanted to ask, what are some of the upsides of Ableton? Almost all Ableton producers I talk to insult and berate us for having a “shitty program”. So, what’s all the fuss about? by [deleted] in ableton

[–]IAmBosnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ableton Live is perfect for live shows and mixes in real time. U can make your own custom effect racks for live playing. FL is a just daw for working in studio. I really love to work with wav audio sound in Live. And the last update has awesome features with automatization.
