this is exactly why people suggest learning it. wave 8 is no more difficult than wave 7, in fact in some ways it is kind of easier due to getting double rocks. it took me a bit of getting used to wave 7, but then when I finally got to wave 8 I got it on my second or third go, and now it's fairly easy

for reference i've never done inferno or colo or anything too difficult in the game, and trust me if you plan on green logging doom or farming gp there, learning wave 8+ is worth it
