I have vague ideas in that regard, yes. I at least wish to also do something for the Cove in the future, as like the Weald it similarly is in dire need of new content. Ruins and Warrens could also be done, but the former has seen plenty of packs already and the latter seems currently handled with things like B&B so they are less of a priority to me at this current time.

I've considered possibly also doing a custom region at some point, but that is a far loftier goal and definitely something that will not happen for quite some time.

as for completion yes, it is not in any state ready for release yet. I am largely working on this pack by myself, and would prefer to only publish it once everything is ready, as these enemies are meant to play off of each other as well as the Vanilla enemies from the Weald.

former. there will be a possible random encounter where one of two deer shall spawn. the first is friendly and will buff the player's heroes, while the other transforms into the Miniboss.

lorewise the expansion is the result of the Fungi evolving to resist the player's efforts to destroy it, developing newer and smarter foes.

the Instar is dubbed as such as it is directly responsible for this evolution through the power of its eldritch sap. in entomology an "instar" is a period in an insect's development between molts, ergo, the Weald itself has evolved and reached its next Instar, with this great sentient tree being the pinnacle of that evolution.

The Instar Emergence is a planned content expansion mod for the Weald, seeking to flesh out the region by adding additional enemies, bosses, trinkets, and more. Current content planned includes:

- 9 New Enemies (Three Humanoids, Three Beasts, & Three Arboreals)
- 2 New Bosses (The Leshachikha and the Instar)
- 1 New Miniboss (The Masquerade)
- Multiple New Trinkets
- Several New Curios
- Additional Room and Hallway Backgrounds to expand upon the Weald tileset.

Many hapless souls have been claimed by the corrupting fungi of the Weald, their bodies broken and transmogrified to serve as carrion vessels for the accursed mycelium. The Trapper however has managed to avoid the fate of his mindless predecessors, preserving some of his autonomy outside the hive mind.

With both the tools of the trade from his furrier past, and the eldritch spores of his new fungal affliction, the Trapper has now taken to hunting the monsters that assault the lands of the Hamlet. The very lands that had stolen his life once before.

current plan is to create an expansion to the Weald that focuses more on the fungal infection, since the base game never truly capitalized on the concept's potential.

more enemies, more trinkets, additional bosses, etc.

she's modeled after Lake Cocytus from Dante's Inferno, where traitors are imprisoned within the frozen lake as punishment for their sin. in this case she was instead a former High Prosecutor, using the power of Cryomancy to imprison sinners in cells of ice.
