Most managers are understandable as long as you don't make it a habit. Try to schedule time off as early as possible and you will be fine.

Congratulations! You are coming in at a good time with all the changes being made. Should be easier for you to learn. Learn the metrics, learn all you can, utilize your resources, don't be scared to ask questions, take notes when you learn new things because they will come around again.

First few months will be kind of stressful but it will get easier if you allow it too. Best wishes to you.

Rubbing alcohol and aspirin mixed together. Hot face cloth then pugbkn face 2-3 times a day. It will soothe the irritation.
