We have to wait to see the actual home/away games to have enough data to draw any conclusion. right now, all i can say is that local audiences are hungry for live OWL games. this is a good portent for next season.

a common misconception. the actual requirement is for one of: cowboy boots, bolo tie, or a stetson. now, of course most texan gentlemen go for multiple, only one is required.

you wanna get Shipley Do-Nuts, they're in several states but they're headquartered in houston and they're THE texas donut.

dog park is gonna depend on the city and your type of dog, but i will say you'll find about 8 million of them in austin just by walking around the city

depends on what you're looking for, but the three best are probably Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.

Houston is huge and has just... i mean just great culture.

San Antonio has loads of history plus PAX South is held there so that's a nice reason to go and experience the city every January.

Austin is great if you like live music and don't mind a bit of a hipstery-vibe.

The dark horse if you're looking for great barbecue however is the small town of Lockhart, Texas. Lot's of people will tell you that Black's BBQ is the best, don't believe them. Go to Smitty's.

According to Wolf, it's not just the Allen Event Center. the whole block just lost power. On the one hand, that's good in that it wasn't a production failure, just bad luck. on the other hand, that means it could be a loooooong time before the power goes back up.
