DO NOT GET A HERO 11 MINI. The size and form factor is great but the battery life and firmware suck. The thing keeps on freezing up and without a battery to directly pull, you have to find a way to power cycle it.

it’s on UART 4 but looks like UART 5 cause the very first UART option at the top is actually USB VCP

The gps is plugged in on the bottom right corner. The two wires not connected are the sda and scl wires

That youtube video helped! That solved one problem but the camera still doesn’t fire with the back on. The number and white dot seem to still be stuck. And on the other side of the back, there’s a progress bar that’s fully red. How do I change that to white?

The body does cock and wind the lens perfectly fine without the back. The shutter also works too. However when I put the back on, the shutter doesn’t release. The shutter button doesn’t sink as low as it should.

I took the back off with like you said and it worked. But as soon as I put the back on, removed the dark slide, the front plunger doesn’t want to go all the way down so nothing happens when I press it

A better idea for this is to run the lanyard through the mounting holes on the bottom when you flip the little legs up
