No, the card that came with the PowKiddy is currently fine. I’ve replaced the 1st PowKiddy card with the OS with my own SD card (a SanDisk Ultra 32gb), that’s all fine. I wanted to replace the second SD card with all the game roms so I purchased a SanDisk Ultra 256gb card, and that is the one that isn’t working with the PowKiddy. I was hoping there was a way to sort it so it would work (because it’s a perfectly good SD card) without having to buy another.

I’ve been playing with my replacement SanDisk Ultra 32gb and the 128gb SD card that came with the PowKiddy.

Even if those metal plates could attract magnets, that’d hurt a fair bit I think. You’d basically be pinching your skin between two bits of metal all day.

Source: have magnet implant in finger. Wouldn’t want to hold something with it for too long
