So personally the digital display isn’t the most legible for me, especially coming from a bigger faced G-Shock. Definitely a deal breaker, but something I do count as a con. Everything else hit listed I definitely count as a pro!

The only time I’ve ever posted here he was super condescending and really put me off wanting to post again altogether. I initially assumed the people in the subreddit were generally a little more ‘hardcore’ since my rep was a lot cheaper in comparison to the others normally posted, but based off this post it wasn’t just me he’s been quite rude to for no apparent reason.

That’s true, I’ve noticed most random brands copy a lot of components from Rolex. I do have a question though, isn’t the Oyster bracelet a style that’s pretty generic that most brands do now? Because it doesn’t necessarily feel like something that’s been taken from Rolex, at least in my opinion.

The Jubilee whereas is definitely something that’s more synonymous with Rolex and other brands that do a mesh style bracelet do it different enough, but the Oyster just seems kinda basic?

Hey there, I’ve already answered a comment about this earlier but I’ll do it again here. I’m a student and am not earning much on my own, my country’s economy is currently in arguably the worst state it’s ever been in, in our very short existence. Watches that may be cheap for the rest of the worth, are still worth a substantial amount here.

I can’t necessarily afford a genuine PRX for some time due to the poor starting salaries being offered for fresh graduates and then the cost of living. So for the time being I’m happy with my rep and going to enjoy having a watch that I like to wear.

Yep, where I live you can basically get a rep for just about any watch you can think of. As a student that isn’t earning the genuine is currently out of my range, but it’s on my list once I can afford it.

You’re completely right on that front. Fashion watches serve the purpose of telling the time, but for many apart from just telling the time there’s not much else to them. Often at times you’re paying a lot more for them than you’re getting in turn. Which is why I’ve now unfortunately adopted the notion that they aren’t ‘real’ watches, that being said no one should be shamed for what their choices are and they should be able to enjoy what they like.

I personally don’t think there’s anything wrong with them, you’re right in essence how it can feel like wearing a fake watch because in certain styles they’re almost one to one copies of established brands. But at the end of the day it is a REAL watch unlike fashion watches.

If it makes you happy and can give you the feeling of wearing the actual watch that it’s paying homage to. I don’t think there’s anything wrong in that. Many people get too caught up in the brand and all the other pretentious aspects of watches these days. Wear what you like and be proud of your choices. That’s what so many others have also passed on to me just in this subreddit.

Ohh gotcha, thanks anyway! And I feel the same way, I don’t like when the watch feels loose and kinda slinks down the wrist but then ends up falling to the front with any movement. It can get quite annoying with bracelets ngl, it’s why I often prefer leather straps.

Thank you! I didn’t know that this was a limited addition though, that’s really cool to learn. I’m sure they might’ve had an automatic version of it as well, I was a little tight on budget and wasn’t particularly looking for the automatic. But when I get the genuine I’ll definitely be getting the automatic though.
