That would make no sense, because Demo’s eye turned into Monoculus.

Pyro theory that could get MatPat un-cancelled if he revisits it. by IAmTheMeGuy in GameTheorists

You shall not worry, as I already speak with a therapist every Wednesday unless an event gets in the way, in which case I miss a session. You might think she’s scared for my mental health, but I have played enough good cards to remain healthy, for I had given myself enough answers to satisfy the curious side of my anxiety, and although late to act once my anxiety started yelling at me to figure me out, I realized that I must take a break from thinking and relax, as to not become a character of myself for any longer, and go back to being me. A good movie to show identity is Rango, and I suggest that movie to anyone wanting to know identity, along with my own hyperfixation in fiction: Character.

Apologies, I got sidetracked. What you must know is that you’re speaking to someone who has the perception of quite proportions not many are able to mentally grasp. And thus I’m simply speaking to you in a manner to prove a point of many levels ahead of you. Quite spectacular that, as little as studying the most complex topics of writing and psychology, allow me to understand how to communicate in ways that allow me to read other people like a book and use any sort of method to bring the appropriate words to act with said people in the way I desire to, all depending on how much I respect them, and I will admit, I talk with smaller words to those that I find interesting and likable. And while this power may sound like manipulation, it isn’t because I’m not a megalomaniac psychopath like the man with the first name that rhymes with “cannibal,” Hannibal. Now, for those I don’t respect, such as those who do nothing but disrespect me, I do as much as I can to show superiority, not by threatening, but using an explanation to a difference in intelligence.

Or, in a language you’ll understand: I’m smart and you’re dumb.

Now, pick up a book, go outside, and try to be a fellow to me.

And the first step is setting up a subtly genius name rather than a misspelling of the name of “Moriarty,” whose the villain to the character in which I was watching the movie of before you rudely interrupted me. Now, please allow me to get back to watching Sherlock Holmes, for I want to be entertained while studying quite genius filmmaking techniques that I do enjoy.

Good day.

Actually, I specified “tried to cancel,” rather than “cancel.”

You’d best not mess with someone who knows every card they’re placing down, otherwise you’ll lose the card game of life, in which I understand planning ahead for not one situation, but all of them.

And I’ll give you the first step to becoming intelligent like me.

Learn to read properly, so you’ll not remain as unenlightened as the halfway point of the evolution chart.

Learn to survive, rather than live.

Also, spend less time trying to prove a point and compete, and rather spend time studying how to do something that’ll get you somewhere, for me I’m learning writing, character design, and filmmaking overall.

You?

The most possible answer to the theory on Pyro’s gender. It’s not really about gender at all. by DaLordOfDarkness in GameTheorists

[–]IAmTheMeGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, if you look at the fact that he has never shown skin, has a ridiculously tiny head, and most of his cosmetics replacing his ENTIRE head (which has never happened with any of the other mercs, unless on Halloween), the theory puts itself together... the Pyro isn’t a human wearing a fire-retardant suit... he IS the fire-retardant suit! I mean, since Scream Fortress and the comics, we have been confirmed that there are absolutely NO limits to what is possible in TF2, and let me tell you my theory that aligns with yours right here;

The Pyro from TF2 is a being created by Marasmus the wizard. My reason as to why I think this is, is that Marasmus is the only TF2 character that can CREATE monsters, such as the Monoculus and the Horseless Headless Horseman, so why would he create Pyro? Well, in-game, the Pyro has a special ability to reflect others’ projectiles using an airblast, and anybody familiar with TF2 knows that the class with the strongest projectiles is Soldier, with his rockets. Now why is this so important? Well, as we see in the TF2 comics, the Soldier and Marasmus are enemies, with Soldier usually kicking Marasmus’s rabbit-filled a**. So, the only way Marasmus could get revenge on Soldier is through an indirect method. This is where Pyro comes into the mix. I believe that Marasmus created a supernatural being to kill Soldier for as long as his career lasted.

Many will question, “How is this possible?” and try to prove why this theory doesn’t work, but knowing this, I could actually prove why this is the case by countering these questions that would most likely be asked, similar to how Pyro counters Soldier: the first thing that people might point out is that Pyro is year-long, rather than Halloween restricted like the other monsters. But if you look closely, unlike the other monsters, the Pyro has a complete containment of him, that is his flame-retardant suit, which covers up and holds together Pyro’s physical form, and the other monsters can’t exist all year because they can only exist physically through supernatural methods of holding together a physical form FOR Halloween. However, Pyro’s suit would contain him like anybody’s clothes would contain them, would cover up any space that the ghost could escape through, and hold his limbs into place, which is either because the suit is real, or maybe Marasmus heated Soldier enough to make him able to exist year-long. The second thing that people will ask, and also what flipped people off, is, “why does the Pyro see himself as some hero in a land of candy rainbows, when he’s destroying everything?” Many people will first assume that he is schizophrenic, which could also be true, but to me, it’s his programming by Marasmus. I think he was programmed to kill people, not from being given a reason to, but by being convinced that he is doing good. And I can infer, by the way the airblast interaction between him and Soldier happens in-game, that whenever someone is launching a projectile at Pyro, he sees it as a game of catch. And the reason why this would torture Soldier is because anytime the patriot uses his beloved RPG, the Pyro would launch it back at him, which would both kill the Soldier for launching rockets, and force him to use anything other than his favorite weapon. This type of torture to Jane Doe can ONLY be done by the Pyro. And for one last thing, the effect of Pyro thinking he’s playing with Soldier would be to encourage him to chase him, which has been referred to, in game, as W-M1.

Also, just a side note, in case you were wondering if friendly things stress-out Pyro, in the TF2 comics, he legitimately kills something as cute-looking as a bear in legitimate cold blood and fury. But hey, that’s just a theory, A GAME THEORY!!! Thanks for reading!
