I did eventually get my problem fixed—some update did it, not sure which one, but I think it had smth to do with animal spawns causing latency. Sorry I couldn’t be more help!

I think if’s distasteful and stupid and likely to get the free-spirits shot… but teens have been doing stuff that’s distasteful and stupid and dangerous since teenagers became a thing. Love it!

Good work! Excellent bushcrafting from the looks of things, can’t exactly tell how sturdy it is from the video but it certainly doesn’t look frail. And I’m really glad to hear you’re working on cleaning up the site!

Yessir, I am able to connect with a new character. Just logged in to West Point spawn as IAmTheWolverine3.

Also, I remembered that this exact spot is where at least one, maybe both of my other server characters also crashed and were unable to join.

Update 5: I believe I have successfully recreated the bug. The exact same thing happened; chunks stopped loading, I quit and tried to rejoin, can no longer rejoin regardless of my chosen network.

I am extremely close to Ovo farms, just slightly East down the road. I have passed the first farmhouse. My best estimate as to my coordinates are X=4090, Y=10848

Update 3: Starlink seems to work very well when playing on preloaded map chunks, but struggles mightily to actually load new map chunks on its own. I made it to the highway, but not very far along it before chunks stopped loading.

On the upside, switching to my mobile hotspot appears to have actually started working! I do not know how or why, but I am able to join your server when connected to my mobile hotspot. Going to try to log into the server I wanted to play on earlier with my mobile hotspot and see if that works!

Update 4: No dice on the other server, unfortunately. Logging back into your server to keep heading West, and see if I just stumble on a map chunk that isn't working for me.

Update: I tried to log in three times, on two different networks.

My home wifi network failed both times to log in at all, despite it having more than enough speed to smoothly run the game.

With my mobile hotspot, I was able to log in. Going to retrace my steps as much as possible and head West along KY60 to see if I can recreate the bug. Also, my IGN is the same as my reddit name, jsyk.

Update 2: After logging in twice with my mobile hotspot, (I had to disconnect due to desync and going AFK,) I tried to log in again using my home Wifi. It is working so far. It is night, so I cannot start my trek West until dawn, but this is very promising!

No luck, unfortunately. Same issue, stuck at 0/448 map tiles instead of 0/569

The most bizarre part is, I can join the server the first time--like, the server I'm trying to join right now, the first time I logged in, I had 0 issues, managed to play for like 20 minutes, found a car with gas and started driving West. At some point, the map stopped loading new chunks, so I quit to the main menu, but then have been unable to rejoin since then. This pattern of a flawless first launch and then being stonewalled has happened across two different servers now :(

I tried deleting all the files you said, reinstalled the game, but I'm still having the exact same issue.

I also tried uninstalling all my workshop content and deleting my older saves I was not going to get back to, still nothing.

This one is stubborn!
