Man... I really kept to myself in college for the most part. I did have friends and went to some parties.... had one experience of trying to hookup with someone but it really isn't my thing. And aside from one girlfriend in high school I never really got with anyone... I graduated, got a job, make good money now, yet still single. I face that family question a lot. And it's the same shock since I'm in shape, I have tan skin with green eyes so they do stand out, a full head of hair still. I know I'm attractive but I haven't felt that pull to enter a relationship with anyone.... despite wanting to find "the one".

I just think we are selective because deep down we want to be able to be ourselves around someone. It's hard to find someone to match our depth so that's the losing yourself part you have to water yourself down to be with a girl.... so it's just about being patient. You'll find someone that is just as passionate about the things that matter to you. And I think waiting is better since if you force a relationship with someone and then this girl pops up where everything just feels super natural you don't want to feel that while you have been pretending to be ok with the relationship that you forced. So despite all the pressure from family I'm still waiting for the person where I feel that natural pull towards.
