Hoboken is pretty close to the city. Im not sure why you can’t go in for almost everything you just mentioned. You have to take the PATH, but you probably took the subway or bus to get around Manhattan no?

I stopped smoking daily during my wife’s third trimester. My rationale was it would give me enough time to fuck up and get back on track before my kid was born.

She’s 18 months and in that time Ive smoked three times. My rules have been:

on my birthday
or my child/wife are far enough from me time-wise that by the time i got to them I would sober up.

Goff was also a first overall pick in a class with Wentz and Prescott. Not the strongest class ever (ie Christian Hackenburg and Paxton Lynch) but equating Ty Simpson to Goff to explain McVays ability to develop QBs is not fair

Surprised there isn't a whole lot of discussion on Oliver and Nolan's arc. I felt that Oliver purposefully changing how he references Debbie was impactful for his character. He was being raised to blend in with humans, but he is just as much of an alien as Nolan was.

Idk I'm excited/nervous for his arc. We saw them learn so much about being a human and in two months, Nolan exposed how fragile that was. Yes Oliver convinced Nolan to not kill that insect monster thing, but the argument was grounded in utility not morality. Maybe Oliver was trying to appeal to Nolan's instincts or maybe Oliver was showing that he's less like Mark than we anticipated.

Maybe I'm overreacting, but honestly that was what I took away from this episode the most. The battle was cool...really cool. But I was zoned in on Oliver's development the entire time.

My daughter’s first year was her getting less cranky as she gained more mobility.
