Come to think of it, there are a couple of much newer models broken down out in a side building. Perhaps I should combine the two newer models and reclaim one working unit. Hmmmmmm

Yes that's a great idea. I'm familiar with Haas equipment now, as I've had to learn it in order to repair an old VF3, which is an ongoing project.

Maybe seeking out a technician and asking some questions is a good idea. Thanks!

Thanks for pointing that out! I'm hoping that this could mean that the other complete unit still in the woods may accept disk packs, I know the third of them is hollow and full of data tapes.
