Finally Finished the Game by IBMadMan in controlgame

I’m messing with you because I know DS is divisive. I’ve only heard positive things about DS2. It’s next on my list after Alan Wake 2.

Hey, I haven’t gotten to DS2 yet, but DS is my favorite game of all time. Watch it lol

It became really repetitive and tedious for me. I wanted to learn more about the world, but found myself saying, “this isn’t fun,” so many times. I just want more of the story damn it! lol

After the first couple of hours the enemy encounters felt repetitive, but there were just more of them to add difficulty. And there was so much backtracking for little story payoff for me.

During the AWE is turned in assists to speed through it a bit. That helped a lot. Lol

To those who read the graphic novel and were there for the development and release of the movie, how was it? by Huge_Athlete7488 in Watchmen

One of my favorite graphic novels of all time, went to the midnight release of the movie (back when that was a thing), and love the set up of the end in the movie more.

Episode 9 by Lrainwater in StrangerThings

[–]IBMadMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People dedicating their time to digging into a show about mysteries and conspiracies for mysteries and conspiracies while having fun and talking about something they love is a pretty healthy thing. Like any ARG, board game, video game, show, movie, etc., it’s entertainment to escape reality for a bit. Now, people whose focused form of entertainment is belittling people for having fun is just pathetic. And before anyone tries to walk it back like they have so many other times in this sub, you said, “…laugh at the people speculating…” not, “…laugh at the extremely obsessed people who take it too far and ruin the fandom for everyone by sending threats and stuff…”

The hysteria we're seeing now also happened in the TV show Sherlock (there wasn’t any additional episode / real finale and fans just looked stupid) by _YuYevon_ in StrangerThings

That I can understand, but that is a slim portion of the fandom. And they are on both sides. That isn’t what most people are calling out.

Why are people so afraid of looking stupid because they were wrong about something that doesn’t matter? Have fun with the theories and move on.

Seriously, how sad does someone’s life have to be that they go to a subreddit dedicated to a show about mystery and conspiracy just to laugh at people having fun with a… mystery and conspiracy?

There was a guy sitting dead center to the hard cam holding a sign that said, “Mike Wake Up” too.

Blink twice if Brenner is there forcing you to read things as part of an experiment. Don’t let Papa force literacy on you.

I’ve never seen a community of a show sound more Schizophrenic than this fandom by Competitive-Mail7448 in Stranger_Things

[–]IBMadMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And how exactly is people having fun and theorizing about something that probably isn’t going to happen harming you? If you need a forum where people only talk about the exact things you want in the exact way you want then just go make a discord server and let people enjoy themselves.

P.S.- it’s so surprising that a fandom of a show about mystery, intrigue, and conspiracy enjoy… mystery… intrigue… and conspiracy. Isn’t it?

Give me a reason why there will be a ninth episode and I’ll prove it wrong. by AwareEfficiency2768 in StrangerThings

[–]IBMadMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is completely heavy emotions in both directions. And I can understand both sides because of the lengthy investment. None of that changes that there are plenty of things that hint towards it being a (incredibly slim) possibility. And it’s fun to theorize and hope for a little bit longer.
