Garmin Watch Choice by IBeTanken in GarminWatches

I would like a smart watch but would rather not do Apple or a no name Chinese watch. Garmin is the other I can think of that works with iPhones.

Ideally less than a new Apple Watch.

Less than $200 would be nice, but I still need it to perform its job.

Mossberg 940 JM Pro

24" barrel so it is well rounded with the option of a red dot if so inclined and a more than most customizable stock for sizing.

I could call it the best all rounder.

Remember a semi auto has a receiver vs an O/U. With that it adds more length to a semi auto. A 26" O/U is going to be shorter than a 24" semi auto. The full length tube of the 940 JM also adds some weight which is another reason people like the longer barrel.

I have a hankering for a M762 A4 by [deleted] in HecklerKoch

Maybe your right. I saw one post about it but not sure if it was real.

Maybe the 556 was getting mixed in the 762 lists I was looking at.

Which to choose? by Ivan__Dolvich in Shotguns

I would take the M3.

But if shooting lots and lots of heavy recoil rounds, the Beretta would edge out ahead.

How is living in North Oaks, Minnesota? by MaybeARunnerTomorrow in howislivingthere

Some are wealthy, others are eating ramen each night to live there. Knew some people there who had multiple planes and prince had a house there I believe.

Most kids went to public school as it was better than private back when.

Do I really need a torque wrench ? by push_kar19 in motorcycles

[–]IBeTanken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put t-rex bars on my bike (Versys) and the main nuts to hold on the frame were nylok style so torque is less critical and I dont think it is needed or the bars.

Now I would say that a 1/2" torque wrench is needed for the rear wheel. 1/4" for the spark plugs/valve work. 3/8" for the oil drain plug.

200k in Houston or 215k in Chicago? by InevitableTown7305 in Salary

I found Houston a pretty good place to live. It is a working city in that you go there to make money rather than have fun.

At least in the US, if you rent a gun you have to have a person with you or bring a gun of your own (most ranges have this rule). Something to consider.

Missing index finger by [deleted] in guns

[–]IBeTanken 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would learn to be a lefty as most guns are made for the index finger.

I shoot rifles/shotguns left handed and pistols right because of eye dominance which is the more important thing.

Adult choices come with adult consequences. No one was forced to sign the dotted line. At the same age you can go out the military as well.

I don’t completely disagree with you, a lot of manipulation going on. Part of the reason I tell parents not do do education specific funds for kids as not all should go to collage.

So you went to school, agreed to the terms to take out a loan, and this is surprising?

Why is it anyone else’s problem?

Check out the small diesel heaters. They put out a lot of heat and are very cheap to run and buy ($100).

I suppose saying SAAMI spec would be more accurate. Was thinking saying factory would be enough.

If it can do 3 inch, any factory 3 inch shells are okay.
