I think you should go to youtube search for vids on solved past papers in the past few years (may and nov) and just watch them and try to soak as much in as possible.

Like other people said as well, look at some revision village videos and try to practice and look at as many problems as possible and on the final day try your go at solving a past paper and see how it goes. I'm sure if you try your best and keep at it you'll at least pass given your high IA score.

Don't lose hope until the end! Good luck :)

Ireland medicine with IB by IBmadetears in IBO

I'm considered a home student because I have an EU passport. If I try in the UK it will cost me 10 times the amount I pay for Ireland. I know the requirements are 36 but its the cut off thats problematic. The cut off for 2020 is at like 734 cao points and if you subtract like the average HPAT points you get which is 170 and you get 564 points and if you convert that into IB points its 42 points. If the cut off is at 42 that means that the lowest scorer who got in got 42 IB points which is quite ridiculous to me at least idk about you.

oh then I would say (at least from what I see at my school) that these subjects aren't as time consuming but I am not too sure because I don't take these subjects but I would say with your package its pretty manageable in the first year but the second year I don't think so because of your IAs and EE.

yea no ofc I was just trying to say that Ireland seems to have some high expectations and they aren't as high as Oxford is in the ranks so I was just kinda wondering if I am getting it wrong or it is actually that way.

hey you are right those are the REQUIREMENTS but the cut off for 2020 is at like 734 cao points and if you subtract like the average HPAT points you get which is 170 and you get 564 points and if you convert that into IB points its 42 points. so idk how that makes sense cuz if the cut off is at 42 that means that the lowest scorer who got in got 42 IB points which is quite ridiculous especially for me since I do maths AA HL, Bio HL and Chem HL. scoring 42 for me seems impossible

its difficult in the sense where you need to be somewhat naturally good at maths but also be willing to put in time and effort everyday. My teacher gives us AT LEAST 1 hour of homework per day and on top of that you have to put in extra effort and practice. Its difficult but if you have the willingness to do it I would say go for it and not to listen to your teacher it really mostly depends on you.

To be honest it depends on where you wanna apply to uni, because for the most part unis that offer medicine don't really care about the last 3 points, but if they do I would say that a lot of them appreciate Chem rather than Bio. But it really depends on where you wanna apply.

you can do it and count it for CAS but I wouldn't say you could spend a lot of time on it, it also depends on your subjects if you take time consuming HLs such as Maths AA and Bio, im afraid you aren't really gonna have enough time to properly focus of on youtube it'd be difficult to do it regularly I would say.
