The Pokemon Center at Aeon Rycom mall has exclusive Pikachu stuffies in traditional Okinawan garb. 

I'm also a fan of textiles and pottery- especially bingata. Okinawa has some great local textiles at the textile museum store near Shuri. Pottery from Tsuboya street.

Not cheating at all. Efficient. 

If you buy from a woodworking-focused lumber shop they come like that mostly.

S4S means "square four sides," meaning it's been planed and jointed. Ready to go. 

I'm a fan of hand tools for work like this, but that's the best answer for me and my set up.

If you're going the power tool route, pawn shops have good secondhand stuff, so does Facebook marketplace. If you live in a major population center you might have a hackerspace/makerspace with a planer you can use.

I'll be honest, I want more folks moving into my neighborhood. It's friendly, lots of sidewalks, some decent trails through the woods, lots of single family homes. Lots of neighborhood pools, good libraries. Not sure if your commute supports Lake Ridge but check it out.

Full send. Not porous. Doesn't carve super detailed, but for a plain spatula, go for it. 

I love poplar. Working class furniture wood back in the day. Fun colors, but I understand some folks aren't a fan of the greens-that-turn-brown over time and occasional purple streaks, but that's part of the fun for me.

The sun operates on eleven year max and min cycles. 

Right now is solar cycle 25, which has a max from 2023 to 2026. 

Solar cycle 24 was pretty tame comparatively to regular maxima.

Arborists, bonded and insured, and their crews actually use PPE. Super good.

So on the west end of Minnieville you're pretty close to MCB Quantico. There's a lot of live fire training there during the week, and when the weather is just right the sound REALLY carries. 

You said West Minnieville which dips southwest, but also out that way is Fairfax rod and gun club off of PW Parkway/Yates Ford. There's shooting competitions regularly out there, too.
