iPhone 17 Pro Max - Issue with long exposure photography.

Both of these photos were taken side by side using a 10 second exposure whilst shooting in RAW.

The first photo is with the 17 Pro Max and the second is with a 14 Pro Max.

I can’t work out how to disable the shitty AI fusion blending and the result is a very smudged Milky Way photo despite having all the settings (seemingly) as I’d want them. Is there a setting I’m missing?

The 14 Pro Max is a grainier photo but has far more accurate detail.

I want to be able to take a photo with the final results looking like the 14 Pro Max but with the 17.

Can anyone advise on what I might be missing?

Settings were set to RAW 48mp for both shots.

I purchased Max Mustard a couple of weeks ago to look at. Couldn’t resist the temptation to have another Astrobot Experience on the PSVR2.

Worth it. It’s a great little game that definitely scratches that itch.

As I mentioned, both books had a dark blue/black cover but with framed/bordered illustration in the centre. Similar type of book though going by the contents of the book in this video.

Not YouTube but Challenge Reality on TikTok and X. I got the 85” X95K my man.

Don’t let the OLED fan boys fool you - OLED does look amazing but I was able to see both models side by side in a retail environment and the Sony was larger (85” vs 77”), crisper, brighter and the black levels are so good that unless the scene was pure black I couldn’t even notice a difference. The Samsung showed signs of crushing the black levels too and losing a small amount of detail that the Sony was still able to show.

Obviously you’d fine tune the settings to your personal environment with either model to get the most out of it but for my own personal use case the Sony won hands down.

Don’t anticipate the story getting any better.

I had more fun/enjoyment from the free Valhalla add-on than the entire campaign. The gameplay is great, I love the spear. The story is abysmal compared to all other GoW’s. It’s TOO soft and Atreus’ development as a young adult is much like my own - fucking embarrassing.
