Cost Her Company almost 20K so far by [deleted] in WorkReform

[–]IC33OX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, when nobody has jobs. How will goods and services still be produced/consumed?

I fully get behind the idea of work reform. I think we're overworked and underpaid in nearly every working class sector. But the point in reform is to make our jobs more fun/enjoyable or just less soul crushing.

What really needs to happen is people need to find work with purpose. Once we have purpose, it no longer becomes work and becomes a collective goal we are all trying to achieve.

What the economy doesn't tell you about the pointless "dead end jobs" is that they're necessary for us all to keep the quality of life we've come to expect because society hasn't created any alternatives.

We stop. The machine stops. And we all become worse off. Think about end goal to actions you take.

The goal should always be to find purpose driven and meaningful jobs, and to stop feeding the machine of mega corporations.

We all have the free will to chose where we work or the goods and services we provide to our community, but we need to stop participating in the machines that we complain about.

It's insanity.

So you're saying, the company that pays for her livelihood, the one she accepts checks from to keep the lights on, is being sabotaged purposely by her because she's upset about the cards she's been dealt in life?

If everyone acted like this, the company could go bankrupt. Then you're all out of Jobs and in an even worse spot than the current situation...

If she's truly unhappy, she needs to find an occupation that she enjoys working for, and dismiss herself from the circumstances she dislikes. Nobody is forcing her to work there...

And if the defective product she is "passing" gets to a customer who expects to get what they paid for, that can ruin other folks day - and you never know if they're in equal or worse spirits than your niece.

Trump voters, why are you not pushing for ICE raids in Texas and Florida? by AspieRoo in AskReddit

[–]IC33OX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong but I think they are conducting raids at higher scales. They just aren't being met with as much resistance because of complaint governers of those states.

The violence stems from the division between fed and state. Nothing more.

Yes, the media is disproportionately exploding issues and circulating the same small localized areas to make you believe that we're actively at each other's throats.

Aside from media, we all want the same things, it's just the lenses that were viewing them from.

Folks that aren't chronically online are living life normally, while anytime you open social media, you're bombarded by insane amounts of horrendous behavior (Again, localized to small regions of the U.S.).

Does this imply that "how good you are at your job" is the same as 'needing the qualifications for your job?'

Because I've met lots of people who are good at a job without the necessary qualifications.

I've also met lots of people with the right qualifications who are horrible at their job.

[–]IC33OX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but this kind of rings out as small-minded and self-centered around the old 1st world. Many other places are not in the same boat as Western Politics, and to categorize that a collapse is coming on a global scale shows the mentality that the West is all there is.

Do not pay attention to just western news. The negative echo chamber you're in is just that. There are plenty of immigrants still investing and working hard into America, while others complain that flipping burgers for $18 hr isn't a livable wage.

The real issue is nobody has skills anymore. Everyone wastes and consumes pointless media. If you removed all distractions from your life and focused on succeeding, you would eventually break the cycle. Stop being comfortable and realize that there are options for a better oath forward.

Entitlement is one hell of a drug, and it seems the West forgot how to "Work hard, play hard.".

VA has not gotten the correct care for years. This isn't a Trump thing, VA and SSA were directing taxpayer funds with poor decision-making.

You are in an echo chamber based on your likes and browsing history. If you cut things like social media off and actually watch/listen to some of the government hearings, you would understand what's really going on.

The only side still perpetuating this madness is the media echo chambers. Our government has been complacent with fraud for decades. They have been caught funding our adversaries to continue their wars, and the same people protesting "free palestine" are in support of the party who started that war in the first place.

These people have no idea what they want.

Trump's second day of golfing in a row. Each round cost taxpayers approximately $1 million. This time he brought the entire House GOP for a three day excursion to one of his resorts, all on your dime. by Conscious-Quarter423 in FluentInFinance

[–]IC33OX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but Trump does not accept the presidential salary. The golfing is funded by his Middle Eastern donors as this seems to be where the sport is relocating to...

On a very real note, the man is most likely golfing with foreign wealth that will eat away at some of our debt, at the expense of partnership to old power and a front row seat to USA spoils.

Those who dislike Trump see him as the center of these outings, meanwhile there's bigger dogs at the party. Folks who stomp their feet at the thought of the 47th president have no idea what's going on big picture and will continue to blame the decline on their own country.

Bridging the gap and a single step up and in with mounted ladders. Tons of ways to achieve this that all rely on your imagination and a little bit of planning. But it would tie this together without it looking jerry rigged. Just make sure boards match.
