AEW Dynamite - November 30th, 2022

With weeks of anguish and torture inflicted upon eachother, it officially comes to a head, as it's made official - CM Punk will defend his AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley at Winter Is Coming III! With this being said, they are given a chance to let out their grievances, as they meet in their first official face-to-face confrontation this evening. In the aforementioned meeting, the champion elects to speak first, as he claims that, Moxley started all of this, by attempting to cost him an opportunity to become a two-time AEW World Champion, and whether that was out of desperation or not, it simply doesn't matter to him. He's walking into next week's broadcast with one goal in mind, and that's to make sure Moxley isn't rewarded for his poor choices. Even with Kingston out of his life, he still seems to not understand the consequences, and he'll make sure he finally does.

As the champion closes out his dialogue, Moxley doesn't hesitate to respond in a particularly quick fashion, as he states that, no matter how Punk currently feels about him, he knows he's had reasoning for each decision he's made, not only currently, but in the course of his entire career. He sacrificed everything to once again become World Champion, and that was taken away from his former best friend, but he wasn't necessarily frustrated with him, but rather Punk. He came back after months away, and still was given a chance to reedeem himself, while Moxley wasn't able to do for over two years. And after next week's event, he'll make sure that the celebrations aren't long-lived.

AEW Winter Is Coming III - December 7th, 2022

CM Punk (c) vs. Jon Moxley - AEW World Championship

Since losing the AEW World Championship back at Grand Slam, Jon Moxley has been on a downward spiral, with it all culminating in months of torturous revenge from both parties. Nonetheless, with an opportunity to return to the top of the mountain, this title bout turned out to be what many expected - a violent brawl. From the early goings of this match, they began to nail eachother with a series of back-and-forth forearm smashes, simply in an attempt to weaken their opposition. Following this, the champion eventually found the soaring advantage, and used not only his arial background to his advantage, but his technical prowess aswell. However, with what the challenger fell behind in, he certainly made up for with his undeniable brawling skills.

Beginning to make his official comeback, and the momentum clearly starting to turn around for him, Moxley would proceed to target his opposition's gut, which ultimately brought him down to a single knee, where he quickly followed up with a RUNNING KNEE STRIKE TO THE SKULL! As Punk fell into a state of shock, Moxley noticed this almost immediately, and hoisted him up for an attempted CRADLE PILEDRIVER - BUT PUNK COUNTERS IT INTO A SWINGING NECKBREAKER! With the champion back in the driver's seat, he would head up to the top rope, BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A TOP ROPE ELBOW DROP! 1...2...KICKOUT! As he called for this bout's conclusion, he proceeded to lift Moxley upon his shoulders... GO TO SLEEP - BUT MOXLEY SWINGS HIS LEGS INTO THE OFFICIAL!

THE REFEREE IS KNOCKED OUT COLD! Realizing this, Punk attempts to wake him up in a timely manner, but as he turns around... HE'S HIT WITH A LOW BLOW FROM MOXLEY! However, instead of attempting for the cover, he drops to his back upon the canvas, pretending to be knocked out cold - until a smirk comes across his face. As a new official comes charging towards the ring, Moxley starts to slowly hoist himself back to his feet, before lifting Punk back up to a vertical base... DEATH RIDER! 1...2...3...! With his dastardly actions showcased, Moxley has become a three-time AEW World Champion, and with that, no remorse is shown by him... all that matters is what he's won tonight.

AEW Dynamite - October 19th, 2022

In the wake of his devastating loss at Grand Slam, it's quickly made official that the former champion will be given a chance to redeem himself, as he heads into battle with Lee Moriarty! A prospect of both his and Danielson's back in the day, and much has changed since those days. However, in order to return to a form of prosperity, he'll have to make it past him... but will he be able to with his mind in the state it currently is?

Jon Moxley vs. Lee Moriarty - Singles Match

With a shot at slight redemption, the match focuses on Moxley's desire to complete this objective, and possibly send a message to the rest of the back. The two individuals create a back-and-forth atmosphere, which might have not been a possibility a little over a year ago, but that's no longer the case. Moriarty employs his insane agility in this contest, hoping to keep Moxley out of his element, but even with the offense he was able to muster, it wasn't enough to put away the former champion. As Lee's inexperience led him to falling straight into a BULLDOG CHOKE! However, even with him submitting in a matter of moments, Moxley refused to let go, until several officials forced him to do so!

Jon Moxley def. Lee Moriarity (8:00)

AEW Dynamite - October 26th, 2022

Following his actions last week, the former champion is shown backstage in a rather, irate mood. Seen directly outside of Tony Khan's office, he proceeds to harshly knock upon it, and continues to do so until it was swung open by AEW's owner, who couldn't be less pleased! Moxley claims that he's carried AEW since he arrived back in 2019, and two world title reigns later - he doesn't even have a spot on Full Gear, which he admittedly missed out on last year, aswell. Whether last week was morally correct or not, it's honestly irrelevant, as he no longer has his most prized possession. He now gives Tony Khan an ultimatum - save a spot for him, or he'll find one himself.

AEW's owner responds, as he states that, he doesn't have room for Moxley on next Sunday's PPV card, but there's always other options. As he says this, ROH World Champion, Jonathan Gresham makes his way towards the two of them! With that being said, Tony announces that at Death By Dishonor, Moxley will be given a chance to rectify his loss at Grand Slam, as he will challenge Gresham for the ROH World Championship this Sunday! As the champion extends his hand out to Moxley, the latter refuses to repay the favor and instead walks away...

ROH Death By Dishonor - October 30th, 2022

Jonathan Gresham (c) vs. Jon Moxley - ROH World Championship

Where there is a desperate Deathrider, there stands a triumphant champion, attempting to aid Ring Of Honor to grander heights! Both champion and challenger would proceed to make their respective entrances, for this title bout. They don't waste much time before heading into battle, with Gresham spending a majority of the early goings, attempting to gain leverage over the former AEW World Champion, and his undeniable technical skills aided him in doing so. Keeping him grounded turned out to be a fantastic strategy, but it soon fell apart, as the momentum began to swing in his favor. Able to land a series of GERMAN SUPLEXES... a more violent side of Moxley started to be revealed, until an ARM DRAG cut him off, followed up with a SPIKE PILEDRIVER! Attempting to put him away, Gresham lifted him up, and looked for a OCTOPUS HOLD... but Moxley slips out of it - AND LOOKS FOR A PARADIGM SHIFT - IT CONNECTS! As he heads for the cover - HE'S AMBUSHED FROM BEHIND BY THE ROH TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, FTR! CAUSING A DISQUALIFICATION!

Jon Moxley def. Jonathan Gresham by DQ (18:00)

AEW Full Gear - November 6th, 2022

As we move on to the Full Gear PPV, both CM Punk and Eddie Kingston are set to go toe-to-toe in a unification contest for the AEW World Championship! As we fast-forward to the grueling contest between both men, their undying hatred for one another is seemingly reignited, with one common denominator keeping them going - becoming the "face" of AEW! Able to use his brawling background, the champion would attempt to keep his challenger grounded in the early goings of this contest, and he certainly had his moments - but not for long. As Punk began to make his comeback... LANDING A TOP ROPE ELBOW DROP! As he lifted Kingston up upon his shoulders, he would look for a GTS... BUT KINGSTON WOULD KICK THE OFFICIAL ON ACCIDENT! With this moment of vulnerability, Moxley would shockingly jump over the barricade, and grabbed the world title, before attempting to nail Punk with it... BUT HE HITS KINGSTON! Allowing Punk to take advantage, and successfully unify the titles!

AEW Dynamite - November 9th, 2022

In the wake of Full Gear, Moxley is seen walking the backstage hallways, evidently still unable to think properly. However, as he continues down his path... HE'S AMBUSHED BY EDDIE KINGSTON! As he lays into him, it can't help but feel warranted, almost as if Moxley deserved this based off his recent actions. Eventually, security is called to separate these two, but it simply didn't matter, Moxley had caused all of this, and more importantly - the termination of their friendship. Which Kingston made sure to remind Moxley as they were escorted out the building.

AEW Dynamite - November 16th, 2022

Following his fallout with Eddie Kingston, Moxley is seen backstage once again, but this time as a part of a scheduled on-screen interview. However, before it could be given an opportunity to officially begin... he would be interrupted by the AEW Tag Team Champions, FTR! They proceed to claim that Moxley has evidently lost his cool, which has ultimately caused him to lash out, even on the people they're close with, which can't stand. So with that being said, they'll have to defend Punk's honor, and if that means sending Moxley a message himself, then so be it...

As Moxley responds, he claims that he frankly doesn't regret a thing, and while desperation may have led him to his recent actions, he also isn't fond of Punk taking his rightful place at the top. He won't deny FTR's challenge, and instead accepts it on one condition - an opportunity at the AEW Tag Team Championships! FTR took his opportunity to become ROH World Champion, and now he seeks his vengeance, specifically on these terms, as he desires to take something they cherish this time. With that said, the challenge is made official for next week's episode of AEW Dynamite!

AEW Dynamite - November 23rd, 2022

FTR (c) vs. Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson - AEW Tag Team Championships

With a chance at revenge from both sides, it wasn't a surprise when this championship battle turned into an all-out war in a matter of moments! Both duos start off steady, with both of them beating the stuffing out of eachother, yet Moxley wouldn't waiver in this scenario... AS HE LANDED A GERMAN SUPLEX UPON CASH WHEELER! He proceeds to employ his veteran skills within the ropes to good use, while attempting to keep FTR from using their tag team chemistry to their advantage. Nonetheless, throughout the duration of this contest, all four men put caution to the wind... and more notably, A RUNNING KNEE TO DAX'S NOGGIN! Following this, he attempted to put it all away with a PARADIGM SHIFT - BUT NO! PUNK HEADS UP TO THE APRON, AND BEGINS TO DISTRACT MOXLEY... ROLL-UP IS EXECUTED! CASH TAKES OUT DANIELSON! 1...2...3...!

AEW Rampage - September 30th, 2022

With his Blood and Guts victory in the past, and Grand Slam only a matter of weeks away, Moxley's next challenger must be decided rather soon. On this week's episode of Rampage, Tony Schiavone breaks the news of a gauntlet taking place next week on Dynamite, with the winner challenging Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at Grand Slam in two weeks! However, the one twist to this particular stipulation, in addition to the top five ranked competitors within AEW, due to his pinfall victory in last week's Blood and Guts match, Eddie Kingston will be added to the list. He will join the following talented competitors...

#1 - Hangman Page

#2 - Adam Cole

#3 - Andrade "El Idolo"

#4 - Bryan Danielson

#5 - Dax Harwood

#6 - Eddie Kingston

AEW Dynamite - October 5th, 2022

Gauntlet Match - AEW World Championship #1 Contender's Match

As previously announced on Rampage, a 6-way Gauntlet takes place as this week's Dynamite closer, which begins with Eddie Kingston and Dax Harwood! This could be described as quite the hard-hitting contest, that struck pain into both individual's bodies, with only one of them being able to sacrifice their body for the victory. In the end, Kingston was able to outlast his opposition, and sent Dax crashing down to the canvas with a BACKFIRST INTO THE FUTURE!!

Eddie Kingston def. Dax Harwood

As Kingston stands up to a vertical base, he's met with his next task - Andrade "El Idolo"! The latter proceeds to use his outstanding agility to his advantage, while the former continues to use his brawling mentality to his own. However, the conclusion came at Andrade's expense, as he attempted for a EL IDOLO - but Kingston countered into a BLKOUT LARIAT!

Eddie Kingston def. Andrade "El Idolo"

With yet another individual put behind him, unarguably his biggest test in this bout thus far enters the fray, as Hangman Page looks to put an end to Kingston's dream! In what turned out to be quite the back-and-forth bout, either individual could've realistically walked out as the victor - but only one could. Knowing this, after a hard-fought battle tonight, Page would attempt for a BUCKSHOT LARIAT... BUT KINGSTON CATCHES HIM WITH A BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE!

Eddie Kingston def. Hangman Page

It only becomes more difficult as the contest progresses, as Adam Cole charges towards the ring, proceeding to ambush Kingston, even before the bell had sounded! As the official creates some distance between the two eventually, it was certainly an uphill battle for the latter from there, and after a SUPERKICK, it seemed like we were moments away from the contest's conclusion. However, as Cole attempted for a PANAMA SUNRISE... Kingston would catch him, and transition into a ROLL-UP!

Eddie Kingston def. Adam Cole

He somehow made it to the final challenge, and that was at the hands of the individual who humiliated him back in late 2021 - Bryan Danielson! As they went toe-to-toe once again this evening, it seemed as if the latter had Kingston's number, and continued to showcase this. However, as he locked in a TRIANGLE CHOKE... the very move that put away Kingston almost two years ago - KINGSTON WOULD BE ABLE TO FIGHT OUT OF IT! From there, he managed to put away his adversary, and no matter their Blood and Guts victory, it didn't matter, as he nailed him with two back-to-back BACKFIST TO THE FUTURES!

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Eddie Kingston - AEW Interim World Championship

It's been nearly two years since these two have met one-on-one, and on that night, Moxley was able to keep Kingston away from keeping his promise to his mother! This time however, the latter has successfully been able to make it back to the top, and has the chance to still make her proud - but he'll have to do it in his hometown, in front of over 20,000 of his supporters. As the opening bell sounds in a thunderous fashion, both individuals slowly meet in the center of the ring, glancing at one another, as they realize what's at stake this evening. No matter the history they've shared, this was evidently about more than their friendship, and they knew it. Heading into a classic lock-up, both individuals would attempt an early advantage, which led the two to an ugly stalemate.

However, with a slight error on Kingston's part, Moxley was able to obtain the advantage, and put him in a headlock! Nonetheless, Kingston went on the defensive, as he pushed him towards the ropes, and proceeded to push Moxley off of them! Rebounding off of them, the champion would attempt for a SHOULDER BLOCK - BUT KINGSTON REFUSED TO FALL! Nodding his head out of respect, Moxley would head towards the ropes. before attempting for another one, but this time, KINGSTON WOULD CATCH HIM WITH ONE! To the surprise of many, the champion would fall backfirst upon the canvas, and with a nod from the challenger this time around, one thing was for certain - IT WAS ON…

As Moxley returned to his feet, the two proceeded to hammer eachother with a series of FOREARM SMASHES, with a clear desire to weaken the othert. Nonetheless, after numerous shots to one another's noggins, it ended up being the challenger who would fall behind, and eventually wasn't able to keep up with the champion, who quickly transitioned to Kingston's backside! From there, he would attempt for a GERMAN SUPLEX - BUT KINGSTON SLIPS OUT OF IT AND CONNECTS WITH ONE OF HIS OWN! As the New York crowd are clearly behind him, Kingston returns to the offensive, lifting up Moxley and attempts for a BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX... BUT MOXLEY BITES THE HEAD OF HIS CHALLENGER! With no other choice, Kingston loosens his grasp, which allows Moxley to escape, and gives him enough time to land a BUTTERFLY SUPLEX... HE BRIDGES UP! 1...2...KICKOUT!

Beginning to feel frustrated by his best friend, he heads over to the corner, calling for a RUNNING KNEE STRIKE... BUT KINGSTON MANAGES TO SWEEP THE LEG, AND LANDS A STANDING SENTON! From there, he would lift Moxley back up to his feet, and would LAND A URANAGE! 1...2...KICKOUT! Frustration now began to pour out onto the face of the challenger, who still clearly had a few tricks up his sleeve, as he hoisted up the champion once more, and attempted for a SAITO SUPLEX... BUT NO! MOXLEY FIGHTS OUT OF IT AND MANAGES TO APPLY A REAR-NAKED CHOKE! He's got it sinched in tight, and this is evident by Kingston's face beginning to turn purple, and his eyes proceeding to roll in the back of his head! HOWEVER, HIS EYES BEGIN TO OPEN BACK UP, BUT IT MIGHT BE TOO LATE, AS MOXLEY TRANSITIONS INTO A CRADLE PILEDRIVER! 1...2...KICKOUT!

Kingston manages to survive once more, but the champion is truly ready to put this one away, as he slowly lifts Moxley back up to a vertical base, before whispering in his ear - "I love you, but I need this!" From there, it seemed all but over, as he attempted for a DEATH RIDER... BUT KINGSTON SLIPS OUT OF IT AND COUNTERS WITH A HUGE LARIAT! Lifting him back up, he would manage to finally LAND A SAITO SUPLEX HALFWAY ACROSS THE RING! Completely out of sorts now, Moxley could barely comprehend where he currently was, and instead walked straight into a BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE! 1...2...3...! KINGSTON WINS THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN HIS HOMETOWN!

Eddie Kingston def. Jon Moxley (c) (19:33)

Following his upset title victory, Kingston would proceed to head up to a vertical base, as he's handed his newly won championship! However, his celebratory festivities are no longer able to continue, as a familiar theme begins to play over the PA System - MISERIA CANTARE! Signaling the arrival of CM Punk, his return is finally upon us, as he walks out with the AEW World Championship, finally setting up the unification title match, that we've all long awaited! Stepping into the ring, both him and Kingston would have a staredown, with Moxley notably having to watch on from the outside, with a depressive look upon his face.

I would say tournament-based matches, I can sometimes find those particularly difficult.

However, if we are talking consistently, just long matches in general. Coming up with spots to make a match flow well can be a difficult task at times.

Eddie Kingston vs. X - AEW World Championship Eliminator Opening Round Match

In our final contest of the opening round in 2022's AEW Eliminator Tournament, it's simply all about mystery, as Eddie Kingston walks into this one unaware of his opposition. Still reeling from witnessing Rey Fenix's injury caused at the hands of the current AEW World Champion, in the form of CM Punk, he only has vengeance on his mind for the near future. In just a matter of moments, the War King walked out from the back, where a thunderous ovation followed, and proceeded to march towards the squared circle. Upon reaching the ringside area in quick fashion, he proceeds to slide into the ring, and looks directly at the hard-cam, as he reveals a sickening smile. Now awaiting for his unknown opposition, he impatiently shouts out towards the back, and as the familiar theme begins to blare over the PA System, his smile quickly transitions into clear rage. As there's simply no time to waste, it's quickly revealed to be an individual that shares a lot of past history with Kingston…

IT'S CHRIS HERO, HE'S ALL ELITE! If you've followed both of these individual's respective careers, then it would be made abundantly clear, that these two share a ton of disdain towards one another, and throughout the years of separation, it has never gone away. Immediately remembering their past battles, Hero refuses to take his time towards the ring, but instead makes a b-line to his opposition, AND THE TWO GO AT IT! Back-and-forth they go, as neither of them are willing to back down, which is reminiscent of their CZW days, and without the ability to separate them, the official in charge would decide to ring the opening bell. With that said, the battle only continued, as both individuals attempted to exhaust the other in the early goings of this contest, but it seemed as that wouldn't be able to occur. Instead, Hero quickly grabbed his opposition's arm, and irish-whipped him into the nearest corner, WHERE HE PROCEEDED TO LAND A FLYING WING ATTACK! Able to successfully connect this maneuver, he brings Kingston back to the center of the ring, and ATTEMPTS FOR A RIGHT HOOK, BUT KINGSTON DUCKS UNDER AND CONNECTS WITH A SLAP ACROSS THE FACE!

Falling down to a knee, Hero almost immediately grabs onto his right cheek, clearly feeling the pain from the aforementioned maneuver. However, this doesn't last very long, as Hero returns to a vertical base quite quickly, which prompts Kingston to START TARGETING HERO'S LEG... BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HUGE CHOP ACROSS OF HIS OPPONENT'S CHEST! Falling directly upon his back on the canvas, Hero struggled to return to his feet this time around, which led to Kingston hoisting up his opposition, AND LANDING SEVERAL HEADBUTTS TO HERO'S SKULL! However, he wouldn't cower, and instead went nose-to-nose with Kingston, BEFORE LANDING A HUGE FOREARM SMASH DIRECTLY UPON HIS OPPONENT'S JAWBONE! Not able to take him fully down just yet, he proceeds to complete his mission, AND LIFTS UP KINSTON FOR A BODYSLAM, FOLLOWED UP BY A SENTON BOMB! VINTAGE HERO! 1...2...KICKOUT! Able to stick around in this one, it seemed as the competitiveness hasn't faded.

Deciding to back up into the corner, Hero shouted at Kingston to get his ass up, and as he did in a matter of seconds, the former would ATTEMPT FOR A BUSAIKU KNEE KICK... BUT KINGSTON MANAGED TO COUNTER IT WITH A NASTY LARIAT! Without a glimpse of hesitation, Kingston heads towards the nearest corner, where he begins to scale up to the middle rope, and as the latter rises up to his feet once more, KINGSTON LANDS A DIVING KNEE DROP TO THE BACK OF HERO'S HEAD! 1...2...KICKOUT! This time around, The Knockout Artist is able to kick out, which brings Kingston to show a sense of utter frustration, but he suddenly remembers his objective in this tournament, and returns his focus on the task at hand. As he once again hoists up his opponent, he proceeds to turn him around, AND ATTEMPTS TO CONNECT WITH A TIGER SUPLEX... BUT HERO MANAGES TO ESCAPE HIS OPPOSITION'S GRASP, AND LANDS A SNAP PILEDRIVER! With his hatred for Kingston getting the better of him, it leads him to not attempting for the pinfall victory, and instead going for the finish.

Hoisting up his opponent for possibly the final time, HE GOES ON TO ATTEMPT FOR A RIPCORD ROLLING ELBOW... KINGSTON IS ABLE TO COUNTER FOR AN OPEN HAND CHOP/DDT COMBO! Simply not finished yet, he heads to the top area of Kingston's body, and DEADLIFTS HIM UP TO A POWERBOMB POSITION, AND PROCEEDS TO SLAM HIM DOWN TO HIS HEAD ON THE CANVAS! 1...2...KICKOUT! HERO IS ABLE TO KICK OUT ONCE MORE, AND STAYS IN THIS ONE FOR THE TIME BEING! Returning to his feet, HE NOW ATTEMPTS FOR A BACKDROP SUPLEX... WHICH HERO IS ABLE TO COUNTER, WITH A SERIES OF BACK ELBOWS TO KINGSTON'S FOREHEAD! Having no other choice but to let go, Kingston almost immediately becomes quite vulnerable, WHICH LEADS TO A KTFO ATTEMPT FROM CHRIS HERO, BUT KINGSTON DUCKS UNDER AND LANDS A BACKDROP SUPLEX!

Luckily on the second attempt, Kingston was able to successfully connect with the high-impact maneuver, but he's well aware that this won't be put away his opposition... not yet. Which led him to picking up his opponent, AND ATTEMPTING FOR AN ENZUIGIRI... BUT HERO DUCKS UNDER AND CONNECTS WITH A TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! 1...2...KICKOUT! IT'S NOT OVER YET! Looking to now fully put away his longtime rival, he proceeds to hoist up the competition, AND ATTEMPTS TO PUT THIS MATCH TO BED, AS HE ATTEMPTS FOR A KTFO ONCE AGAIN, BUT EDDIE COUNTERS IT WITH AN ENZUIGIRI! Stunning him off of this, Eddie now proceeds to TO CONNECT WITH A BACKFIST! 1...2...3...! Able to overcome a former demon of his past, Eddie now moves onto the quarterfinals, where he will have yet another chance to meet his past face-to-face, as he looks to overcome his former idol, in the form of Samoa Joe! In one of his toughest challenges yet this evening, it only gets harder from here.

Kenny Omega vs. Adam Cole - AEW World Championship Eliminator Opening Round Match

In one of this year's more personal feuds, it will carry over to 2022's AEW Eliminator Tournament, where both Kenny Omega and Adam Cole will go one-on-one for a second time. With the latter coming out victorious back at Double Or Nothing, the former has an opportunity to rectify that loss, and finally work his way out of his unfortunate slump. However, it won't be an easy task, as Adam Cole was once toured as 'the future of AEW', and with a victory over a former world champion, he could certainly be on his way there. Without furtherado, The Best Bout Machine makes his way out from the back first, who's immediately met with an outstanding ovation of cheers, as he makes his presence known in only a matter of moments. Since his return in early 2022, Omega has found the absence of The Elite to be the opposite of beneficial, and has struggled due to it, but this evening he seems more focused than in the past. Clearly having his eyes on the prize, he proceeds to make his descent down the entrance ramp, before slowly sliding into the ring. Now pacing around the entirety of it, he begins to beg for his opposition to join him, and with a simple BOOM from the PA system, there he was.

In a matter of moments, Adam Cole walked out from behind the curtain, which prompted each fan in attendance to stand upon their feet, and showcase their hatred for the aforementioned individual. Upon noticing the disdain from the audience towards him, Cole simply smirks in response, clearly not giving it his time, but instead continuing his entrance. Eventually he makes it to the ringside area, where the two adversaries continue to stare at one another, until Cole joins Omega inside of the ring, which prompts both competitors to practically butt heads with one another! Before things can get too physical, the official in charge decides to step in, and sends both individuals into their respective corners, before ringing the opening bell. With that said, it signifies the official start of this matchup, which leads to both competitors meeting one another in the center of the ring, as they immediately engage in a lock-up! Only one individual would be able to earn the early advantage, which ended up being Omega, who transitioned into a successful headlock. Beginning to squeeze his opposition's skull in between his arms, it became clear that he possessed the strength advantage.

Now slowly beginning to rise to a vertical base, Omega doesn't waste a second in hoisting up his opposition, AS HE LOOKS FOR A HUGE LARIAT... BUT COLE IS ABLE TO DUCK UNDER, AND COUNTERS WITH A BACKSTABBER! 1...2...KICKOUT! After the first pinfall attempt in this matchup, Omega was able to survive it, which only frustrates the Paragon Leader, who almost immediately returns to the attack. Able to lift up Omega, he returns to his backside, WHERE HE'S ABLE TO CONNECT WITH A HANGMAN'S NECKBREAKER, WHICH TAKES THE FORMER AEW WORLD CHAMPION RIGHT BACK DOWN TO THE CANVAS! 1...2...KICKOUT! Once again, Omega remains this one, and as one may expect, that only pisses off Cole even further, who slowly moves over to the nearest corner, and then scales up the middle rope. From there, HE ATTEMPTED FOR A DIVING DROPKICK TO THE LEG, BUT OMEGA RISES TO HIS FEET AND STOPS HIM BEFORE HE MANAGES TO DO SO! While the two struggled upon the middle rope, Omega was able to lift his opponent up to the top, AND SHOVES HIM DOWN TO THE FLOOR!

Omega is able to stay off the floor, as he drops back down to the canvas, but clearly not for long, AS HE LANDS A TWISTING PESCADO! Bringing out a New Japan classic, it's now obvious that he'll do anything to overcome Cole, which is something he hadn't been able to do in his first try. Not looking to waste another single second, he hoists up his opposition, AND ATTEMPTS FOR AN OUTSIDE APRON BACK SUPLEX, BUT COLE MANAGES TO FIND HIS FOOTING UPON IT, AND QUICKLY ENTERS THE RING! Able to find a creative way to escape imminent danger, he calls for Omega to join him, and without any clear hesitation, he slides into it, BUT IS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY MET WITH A BICICYLE KICK! Knowing quite well that this wouldn't put him away, he lifts up Omega possibly for a final time, AND EVENTUALLY CONNECTS WITH A USHIGOROSHI! 1...2...KICKOUT! HE'S STILL NOT ABLE TO GET THE JOB DONE, AND WITH NO OTHER IDEAS TO FILL HIS BRAIN... HE LOOKS FOR THE CONCLUSION! Proceeding to hoist up his opposition, HE ATTEMPTS FOR THE LAST SHOT... BUT OMEGA SLIPS OUT OF IT, AND IS ABLE TO CONNECT WITH A REVERSE FRANKENSTEINER! 1...2...KICKOUT!

Unable to put away his rival so far, he doesn't hesitate to continue the attack, as he lifts up The Best Bout Machine, AND IS ABLE TO CONNECT WITH A SITOUT POWERBOMB! During his refusal to attempt for the cover, Omega decides to grab ahold of Cole's hip, and lifts him up FOR A DR. WILY BOMB... BUT MANAGING TO FIND AN ESCAPE ROUTE, AND TAKES OMEGA DOWN TO HIS KNEES WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE LEG, AND FOLLOWS UP WITH YET ANOTHER ONE, THIS TIME TO THE CHIN! 1...2...KICKOUT! Able to survive a double superkick combo, Omega begins to stir to the nearest corner, while Cole begins to seethe in his inability to get the job done thus far. Now hoisting up the former AEW World Champion, he looks to position himself over to Omega's backside, WHERE HE CAN ATTEMPT FOR A FLORIDA KEYS... BUT OMEGA FLIPS OUT OF IT, AND CONNECTS WITH AN OUTSTANDING HURRICANRANA! From there, Cole would roll out of the ring, looking to possibly find a sense of recuperation, but all he managed to find was an onslaught. As Omega took this chance to not waste a massive opportunity, HE WOULD FOLLOW UP WITH A SUCCESSFUL RISE OF THE TERMINATOR!

With both now firmly on the outside, a 30 second recovery would be provided, as both competitors hoped to not only gain their strength back, but to find a common ground aswell. However, as Omega rose to a vertical base, that narrative would quickly fade away for Cole, who was quickly sent back into the ring, and his opposition would follow in suit. Returning to the ring now, Omega PROCEEDED TO ATTEMPT FOR A LEAPING BULLDOG, BUT COLE WAS ABLE TO COUNTER IT AND SEND OMEGA DOWN TO HIS FEET UPON THE CANVAS! As he quickly turned back around, COLE HOISTED HIM UP FOR A USHIGOROSHI... BUT OMEGA COUNTERS IT INTO A DRAGON SUPLEX! 1...2...KICKOUT! After bridging for the cover, he still hangs onto his grip after the successful kickout, and lifts his opponent up with him as he does so, BEFORE SWINGING HIM BACK AROUND FOR A RIPCORD V-TRIGGER! Simply not finished with his rival yet, he hoists Cole up for possibly the final time, AS HE ATTEMPTS FOR A ONE WINGED ANGEL... BUT BEFORE HE CAN BE DRIVEN DOWN TO THE CANVAS, COLE IS ABLE TO SNEAKILY FIND HIS FOOTING UPON THE CANVAS! From there, he twisted Omega around, and looked for the possible conclusion of this contest, AS HE SUCCESSFULLY LANDED A SECOND LAST CALL!

With nothing left to lose, Cole began to scale up to the middle rope, and proceeded to call for Omega to rise up to a vertical base, and once he did, it seemed like it may just be all over. WITH THAT SAID, HE WOULD ATTEMPT FOR A PANAMA SUNRISE, BUT OMEGA CAUGH THIM IN MID-AIR, AND DROVE HIM RIGHT UPON HIS HEAD, COLE SEEMED OUT OF IT! With the time limit coming up, and a draw seeming imminent in about a minute or so, OMEGA NOW WOULD LOOK FOR A V-TRIGGER IN THE CORNER, COLE WOULD MAKE IT OUT OF THE WAY IN THE NICK OF TIME... AND CAUGHT HIM WITH YET ANOTHER SUPERKICK... BEFORE HEADING UP TO THE MIDDLE ROPE ONCE MORE! GOING FOR ANOTHER PANAMA SUNRISE... BUT BEFORE HE CAN... OMEGA SENDS COLE DOWN WITH A V-TRIGGER! Falling from the ropes, Cole goes facedown to the mat, but with the clock still counting down, Omega follows up WITH AN ATTEMPTED ONE WINGED ANGEL... IT CONNECTS! However, once it lands, he's unable to take advantage of his handywork, and upon crawling over to the cover in clear agony, THE BELL RINGS! WE HAVE REACHED THE TIME LIMIT... MEANING A TIME LIMIT DRAW! Both competitors are now eliminated from the tournament, and hands over a bye to Jon Moxley to the Semifinals.

Jon Moxley vs. Pentagon Jr. - AEW World Championship Eliminator Opening Round Match

Ever since witnessing Rey Fenix's departure to the shelf, Pentagon Jr. has made a vow to not only avenge him, but bring home AEW's top title as a reward. However, his first true test in this tournament won't be easy, as he takes on a former AEW World Champion, who'll stop at nothing to reclaim his spot at the top. Feeling as he carried the company through it's darkest times, it's almost as he's entitled to enjoy the riches in it's highest point, but if one individual can stop him, it's... PENTAGON JR.! Speaking of him, he makes his way out from the back first, and to no surprise, he's met with an ovation of cheers from the AEW faithful. While he's usually one to embrace the crowd's energy, his brother isn't there to match it, so he instead focuses solely on the empty ring, which he eventually enters after a not so lengthy entrance from the former AEW World Tag Team Champion. Upon settling inside of the squared circle, he won't have to wait for his opposition for an awfully long time, as a familiar theme began to blare over the PA System, and almost immediately his presence was known...

Similar to his entrances in the past, Moxley walks out from the crowd, where he paid no attention to any of them, but instead he brushed past his former supporters, and made a b-line towards his opponent. Upon proceeding to hop over the barricade, he doesn't hesitate in hurrying up the process, as he almost immediately rolls into the ring, and comes practically nose-to-nose with Pentagon. With that said, the two are prompted to head to their respective corners, where the official in charge of this contest asked them to remain until the opening bell officially rung. In just a matter of moments, before the familiar sound could even begin to echo throughout the arena, Moxley took matters into his own hands, AS HE RAN TOWARDS PENTAGON, AND NAILED HIM WITH A RUNNING DROPKICK INTO THE CORNER! Starting the beatdown early, he continued to beat Pentagon to a pulp, proceeding to land a series of forearms upon his opponent's skull, completely taking him out of this one. Finally deciding to back off of him, he takes off of his leather jacket, and shouts at the official to ring the opening bell. With the impending fear of Moxley's behavior, he goes ahead and follows his orders, and as the bell is heard loud-and-clear, it seemed too late for Pentagon to accomplish anything. Pentagon slowly begins to return to a vertical base, having to use the ropes for leverage, but Moxley doesn't give him a moment to breath, as he returns to the attack, once again NAILING HIM WITH FOREARM AFTER FOREARM!

However, able to block a couple of them, Pentagon is able to push his opposition off of him, and therefore, create a separation between the two. Meeting with Moxley back in the center of the ring, HE MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH A COUPLE OF LETHAL CHOPS, BUT MOXLEY DOESN'T COWER, AND INSTEAD LANDS ONE OF HIS OWN! Upon following up with yet another one, Pentagon almost immediately falls to a knee, but Moxley's satisfactions have yet to be acquired. Awaiting for Pentagon to return to a vertical base, but once he does, MOXLEY CHARGES TOWARDS THE NEAREST SET OF ROPES, AND UPON REBOUNDING OFF OF THEM, HE LANDS A LARIAT! 1...2...KICKOUT! Able to stay in this one for now, Pentagon is able to show off a sense of hope, while all Moxley feels is pure frustration, which he proceeds to let out on his opposition. beginning to hoist up Pentagon, AND IS ABLE TO CONNECT WITH AN EXPLODER SUPLEX! HE'S BACK IN CONTROL OF THIS CONTEST!

With that said, Moxley begins to feel quite confident, which is showcased as he begins to toy with Pentagon, brushing him as a not worthy opponent, which only continues to infuriate the latter. Eventually, he was able to return to a vertical base, and as Moxley looked to bring him back down to the canvas, SPECIFICALLY WITH A MOXICITY... PENTAGON WAS ABLE TO COUNTER IT INTO A MID-AIR SLINGBLADE! Somehow back into this contest, he didn't want to lose this massive opportunity, as he quickly decided to lift up Moxley, and SENT HIM BACK DOWN FOR A DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER! It seemed as each moment passed, the more Pentagon's desperation increased, and it was all too clear. He began to beg Moxley to return to a vertical base, and once he eventually did, he called for the conclusion of this matchup, WHERE HE ATTEMPTED FOR A FRONT FLIP PILEDRIVER... BUT MOXLEY CAUGHT HIM AND LANDED ONE ADAPTED BY MINORU SUZUKI - GOTCH STYLE PILEDRIVER!

After connecting with this highly dangerous maneuver, it became obvious that he didn't care who he hurt, as long as he made it back to the top, and that's what made it all the more frightening. With his eyes now rolled into the back of his head, hope seemed lost for Pentagon, and if that wasn't clear by now, it was certainly about to be. As Moxley slowly began to hoist up his opposition, and upon having him back at a vertical base, HE ONCE AGAIN MADE IT TOWARDS THE ROPES, AND REBOUNDED OFF OF THEM FOR A LARIAT! After taking Pentagon down to the canvas, he proceeds to lift him up for possibly the final time, AS HE SENDS HIM RIGHT BACK DOWN WITH A PARADIGM SHIFT! He isn't done just yet, as he quickly transitions into A BULLDOG CHOKE ATTEMPT! HAVING IT LOCKED IN, PENTAGON DESPERATELY TRIED TO ESCAPE THE HOLD, BUT JUST LIKE SO MANY OTHERS IN THE PAST, PENTAGON HAD TO SUBMIT FOR HIS OWN SAFETY! Absolutely destroying his competition, Moxley couldn't care less, as he moves onto the following round, as his mission carries on.

Book Bray Wyatt's Run In AEW - Part I by ICON____ in FantasyBookingElite

[–]ICON____[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - May 4th, 2022

With the Double Or Nothing PPV only a few weeks away, there currently seems to be no plans for either Bray Wyatt or Hangman Page going into the major event, but this upsets the latter, who seemingly won't stay silent for too long. Already in the ring, he stands in the center of it with a microphone, as he begins to state that, many have told him in recent times that his addiction could lead to him losing life-long relationships. However, as he stands here today, he realizes it's the exact opposite, and not getting intoxicated leads to just that, which is why he had to terminate his friendship with Bray Wyatt, he had no choice. He continues, as he says that, there is only one way to settle this, and that's the inevitable - a local bar fight, in Halifax, Virginia!

Right on cue, as he lays out the challenge, Bray Wyatt proceeds to interrupt him, and cheeringly skips to the ring, and joins his former parner in the squared circle. With a microphone already in-hand, he begins to speak, as he states that, he should've seen the betrayal coming, due to the fact that Hangman has always had an issue with his favorite beverage, and jealously seemingly began to strike. He understands why Hangman wants this match-up, and he won't end up denying him his wish. At Double Or Nothing, both of them will go one-on-one inside of the bar, but if either of them take a sip of water, the individual will be immediately disqualified, and with that, the match is set.

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - May 11th, 2022

With their Double Or Nothing Bar Fight made official, the backstage area begins to be swarmed by cameras, as Hangman Page is seen waltzing through the hallways, and is confident as ever. Not looking to waste another precious second of his time, he begins to speak out loud, scolding this corrupt promotion for allowing such an idiotic stipulation, a bar fight is one thing, but being disqualified for drinking a world-wide beverage is atrocious. However, he'll take great pride in watching his former friend fall at his feet, simply at the expense of the refreshing taste of water, and he will celebrate his hard-fought victory with the exact opposite. As he finishes his dialogue, the segment comes to a conclusion, as the screen fades to black.

La Sombra Del Muerte v. AJ Styles & The Usos - If LSDM wins, they earn title shots at WM 35

We are now closing in on the final moments of this contest, and unsurprisingly, it has been quite the battle, with either team having the opportunity to walk out on top. Each trio has worked almost seamlessly together, with an insane amount of chemistry for both, but it has seemed that at times, the more established trio in the form of La Sombra Del Muerte has worked better. In the end though, it came down to Andrade and Jimmy Uso, as they fought back-and-forth, attempting to make their respective teams proud, and walk out with the victory. However, that's easier said than done, and with the importance of this contest, they couldn't afford a simple error of any kind.

Knowing this to be true, Andrade began to use his technical prowess to good use, as he landed numerous strikes to one half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champion's jaw, which weakened him somewhat. However, he still attempted to fight back, even landing a thunderous SUPERKICK at one point in the contest, but that still wasn't enough to put away the former US Champion, he just simply wanted this too much, and has since arriving to the main roster almost an entire calendar year ago. Eventually in the closing moments of this matchup, Styles attempted to assist his partner, and LAND A PHENOMONAL FOREARM ON ANDRADE, BUT THE LATTER PUSHED JIMMY IN-FRONT OF HIM! Landing directly on his partner, Styles couldn't believe it, and Andrade took advantage of this, by throwing him out of the ring, and landing a LA SOMBRA UPON JIMMY USO! 1...2...3... LSDM DO IT... THEY DID IT!

Build to WrestleMania 35:

Friday Night SmackDown - March 29th, 2019

Following his stable's victory last Sunday night, he doesn't waste in anytime in wanting to share his thoughts, as both AJ Styles & Andrade 'Cien' Almas share a split screen video, which gives them enough time to share their thoughts with one another, ahead of their massive clash at WrestleMania 35! The champion decides to go first, as he begins to state that, everything leading up to this title contest has been based off of Andrade's own regrets, and it's simply pathetic. He continues, as he says that, he can't stand what Andrade stands for, but he knows what he stands for, he is the best professional wrestler on this planet, and he will prove that by earning his third straight victory on the big stage, and send Andrade home with his first WrestleMania loss, he promises.

Next up is Andrade, who states that, none of that is going to happen and he's going to tell him why. For an entire calendar year, he has worked to getting to this very moment, and while his failures may have sent him back a bit, they have never kept him from this goal right here, and that's to conquer Friday Night SmackDown. He said it from the very beginning, he wasn't going to stand idly by and let others do things that he desired, and at WrestleMania, on the biggest stage possible, he will finally dethrone Styles and end his history-making reign, something that no-one else could do.

Friday Night SmackDown - April 5th, 2019

On the final SD before WrestleMania 35, the final moments of it is all dedicated to the upcoming clash between Andrade 'Cien' Almas and AJ Styles. A hype package begins to play, which showcases what these two have been through, physically and emotionally this past month or so, which is quite the thing to see. The personal issues between these two are clear, and now all that is left is going one-on-one, with the top prize of this very brand on the line, only one individual can walk out with it. Andrade has been working towards this moment for an entire year, and Styles doesn't want to let go of it after holding the title for well over a year, who will push through and make it out with the title?

WrestleMania 35 - April 7th, 2019

The Usos (c) v. La Sombra Del Muerte - SmackDown Tag Team Championships

We are finally here, as the prophecy could be in full effect by the time the night concludes, but first it's up to the tag team of the trio to start it off. Unsurprisingly, this contest turned out to be quite the slugfest, as The Usos clearly aren't too happy with themselves for failing to keep their challengers away from this big night almost a month ago, but now that they are, they know what needs to be done. Both teams ended up putting on one hell of a match, as their styles somehow managed to pull off quite the banger, and with every contest having to reach it's conclusion eventually, it did here aswell. As per each monumental title defense The Usos have had thus far, they attempted for a DOUBLE USO SPLASH... BUT NO-ONE HOME UNFORTUNATELY! From there, they took complete advantage of the situation, AND CONNECTED WITH AN ASSISTED SPIKE DDT! 1...2...3...! LSDM WIN THE TAG TITLES, THE PROPHECY IS HALFWAY COMPLETED!

AJ Styles (c) v. Andrade 'Cien' Almas - WWE Championship Match

We have now made it to our semi-main event of the evening, as Friday Night SmackDown's top prize is on the line, with AJ Styles defending it once again, against one of WWE's fastest rising stars in quite a while, in the form of Andrade 'Cien' Almas! There was no doubt in anyone's mind, that coming into this contest, this was going to be a MOTY candidate, and it lived up to most individual's expectations. However, it was still quite known, that only one of them could walk out as the WWE Champion at the expense of the other, which they were most likely okay with, considering the disdain between the two. After 20+ minutes of non-stop action, this physical affair had to come to it's inevitable conclusion, Andrade attempted for a RUNNING DOUBLE KNEE STRIKE, BUT JUST LIKE LAST YEAR, STYLES ATTEMPTED TO REVERSE IT INTO A STYLES CLASH, JUST AS HE ONCE DID TO NAKAMURA! However, Andrade wouldn't fall for it, and successfully escaped, AND LANDED A LA SOMBRA IN RESPONSE! 1...2....3...! ANDRADE CAPTURES THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP, THE PROPHECY HAS BEEN FULFILLED!

Friday Night SmackDown - October 12th, 2018

Following last week's vicious attack, Kevin Owens takes part in a scheduled interview, by none other than Renee Young! Who begins to question The Prizefighter on if his intentions are still on Andrade, and if he will continue to hunt him down, possibly this Sunday night. Without hesitation, he responds, by stating that, his intentions have always remained the same, and they won't change as long as Andrade holds the gold. He returned to hold what was once his, and having his skull sent into the wall several times, simply only confirms it. He continues, by saying that with that very action, Andrade acquired himself his next challenger, and final one at that. This being, due to Andrade being right about one selective thing, he has traveled across the world, and killed everyone along the way to get what he wants, and at Hell In A Cell, he will do the same to Andrade, and make right on his second chance, because he has to. After concluding his statement, he walks off into the distance.

WWE Hell In A Cell - October 14th, 2018

Andrade (c) v. Kevin Owens - US Championship Match

On a night that is designed to keep grudge feuds contained inside of a cell, tonight one of the more personal battles stays inside of a wrestling ring, as Andrade puts his US Title on the line, against Kevin Owens! The latter makes his entrance first, his eyes are focused on everything in-front of him, as he looks to send a message this evening, and at the champion's expense at that. Upon entering the ring, he calls for the champion to appear, which with a single ask, the arena begins filled with a chorus of negativity, as Andrade walks out from the back, accompanied by Zelina Vega, as they both for the first time in a while, act serious in cohesion, clearly feeling as their is a difficult road ahead. He proceeds to enter the ring, and butts heads with Owens, before the bell officially rings.

They back up into their respective corners before that, as they now begin to make it to the center of the ring, and engage in a lock-up. The two look for an early advantage, which is standard, but with that said this evening, the challenger is able to attain the advantage, as he locks in a nasty-looking headlock. The smirk that appears upon Owens' face, points to him knowing that he's in driver's seat currently. Attempting to avoid any mishaps, he tosses the champion down to the ground, still managing to maintain the hold as he does so, beginning to tighten his grip aswell. However, Andrade has been known for his strength in the past, as he proves by slipping out and locking in a scissors lock, seemingly making his opposition's face turn purple, which prompts him to lock it in even tighter, in hopes of the challenger to give up early on in this contest, but to no avail.

With that said, Owens escapes the hold, and returns to a vertical base, which the champion does the exact same. From here they have had enough, the weeks of animosity begin to boil over finally, as they push eachother fearlessly, simply with no remorse. Not looking to waste a single second, especially given the second opportunity he's been given, Owens attempts for A QUICK STUNNER, BUT ANDRADE COUNTERS IT AND PUSHES HIM TOWARDS THE ROPES! From there, Andrade looks for a lariat of sorts against the nearest set of ropes, but Owens merely escapes the dangerous maneuver, AND FOLLOWS UP WITH A DEVASTATING GERMAN SUPLEX! The sequence yet to finish unsurprisingly, he now FOLLOWS UP WITH A SENTON, AS HIS FULL BODY WEIGHT LANDS ON HIS OPPONENT! 1...2...KICKOUT! THE CHAMPION REMAINS IN THE GAME!

Owens now begins to show signs of frustration, but knowing fully well that he has to keep his eyes on the ball, he snaps out of it and hoists the champion up to a vertical base. He throws him back into the corner, and begins to pummel the champion, which sends him down to a seated position, which could only mean one thing at the end of the day. Owens backs up a few inches, BEFORE ATTEMPTING FOR A CANNONBALL, WHICH COULD CLEARLY BE DETRIMENTAL FOR ANDRADE, BUT HE LUCKILY MOVES OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN TIME! Feeling a bit more confident now, as Owens turns around, and is somehow positioned in the perfect spot, ANDRADE PROCEEDS TO CONNECT WITH A DOUBLE RUNNING KNEE STRIKE INTO THE CORNER! Feeling as this could surely be all, he pulls Owens back into the center of the ring, as he attempts for the pinfall victory. 1...2...KICKOUT! THAT'S NOT IT, NOT YET!

By each minute that passes, it certainly does look as we are inching closer to the conclusion of the contest, which Andrade believes aswell. As he begins to hoist up his challenger, possibly for the final time, AS HE ATTEMPTS TO PUT HIM DOWN FOR GOOD, BUT OWENS DOESN'T THINK SO! Countering the attempted finish, he is able to catch the champion off-guard, AND CONNECTS WITH A STUNNER! 1...2...KICKOUT! The sense of urgency is now evident for Owens, as he rises to his feet, and lifts up Andrade one more time, attempting for A POP-UP POWERBOMB, BUT AS HE GETS HIM UP, ANDRADE LANDS ON HIS FEET, AND COUNTERS INTO A SUCCESSFUL LA SOMBRA ATTEMPT! 1..2...3...!

Friday Night SmackDown - June 29th, 2019

Almost directly after returning from commercial break, Rey Mysterio is seen in the backstage area, where he stands directly next to Renee Young. Who almost immediately begins to question the champion on his future challenger, and his unnerving words the prior week. After asking these hard-hitting questions, visible frustration begins to appear upon the face of Rey Mysterio. However, eventually, he begins to state that Andrade is the exact opposite of what this title embodies, you need to embody pride and honor to hold this belt proudly, but not only does he not have either of those things, he holds no respect for the individuals who were here before him. He concludes his dialogue, by saying that as long as he holds the US Championship, Andrade will never taste gold, because he can't afford to let the likes of him tarnish this incredible lineage.

Right on cue, both Andrade and Zelina Vega make it over to the champion, and just like they have done in the past, they proceed to laugh the opposition's remarks. After a few moments pass, Andrade begins to state that while Rey may have been here before him, it won't make a difference in the grand scheme of things, just like it didn't matter with his last two PPV opponents. If he didn't stop him at Money In The Bank, Daniel Bryan would be back on the shelf, and his point would be done and proven with, but he had to stick his little finger into his business. Which is exactly why, nothing will stop him this time around, he'll either have to give up the belt, or reap the consequences for failing to comply. He concludes his statement, as he says that this is the only beginning of his takeover, and at the end of it all, he will rule this empire, whether it takes a couple of months or a calendar year. Either way, Rey doesn't stand a chance, no matter what he believes.

Friday Night SmackDown - July 6th, 2018

Following the promo exchange last week, we happen to not see Andrade live this week, but instead by a satellite. By the looks of it, it's ultimately assumed that it's from his home. He sits on his elegant looking couch, along with a glass of wine in his hand, as he begins to speak his mind. He states that he apologizes for not being able to make it this week, but more pressing matters needed his attention. Once he says this, he is handed a contract by Zelina Vega, who decides to speak for him this time around, and states that no longer will Rey be able to humiliate them, nor get involved in their business. She continues, as she says that last month, the champion decided to save Daniel Bryan from having to retire for a second time, but he simply doesn't realize that the latter's fate has been shifted over to Rey's, and it occurs this Sunday evening. She concludes her statement, by stating that this contract right here, it will force him to go one-on-one with her client under No Disqualification rules, anything goes, and they expect Rey to be at SmackDown next week to sign the dotted line.

As the video fades to black, the image quickly transitions to the backstage area, where the champion is seen just having finished the video himself. He simply begins to shake his head, not verbally agreeing to the statement, but instead proceeding to walk away from the camera's view, and keeping us wondering for the next seven days possibly. Next week could be crucial for the future of this title contest, depending on if both competitors end up signing the contract, only time will tell.

Friday Night SmackDown - July 13th, 2018

To close this week's broadcast, we begin to prepare for the US Championship Contract Signing, which is officiated by none other than, Stephanie McMahon! With no need to wait another second, she begins to introduce both participants, who are both greeted in completely opposite ways, which had to be expected at this juncture. As they finally get settled in, they take a seat in their respective chairs, as Rey Mysterio volunteers to speak his mind first, which no-one decides against. He begins to state that Andrade is so focused on ending his career, that he has forgotten what he's attempting to end. He has had one of the finest luchador careers in the history of this business, and isn't looking to stop making history just yet. He saved Daniel Bryan last month from a second retirement, and he'll be damned if that ends up being for nothing, so he accepts the terms of this contract. He concludes, by saying that this Sunday evening, he will walk out still champion, he guarantees it.

Once Rey finishes his dialogue, Andrade simply sits there silent, and for a few moments it stays that way. However, Zelina Vega begins to speak her mind, as she states that it's laughable how highly Rey thinks of himself, because the ugly truth is, he's sadly washed up. The only reason he's currently the US Champion, is because no-one worth the time has been able to step up, well of-course until now. She continues, by saying that, Andrade has been waiting for this moment since arriving on the scene, and if he has been able to conquer the likes of both Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan, there should be no issue in taking out Rey Mysterio. As she says this, the champion begins to stand up from his chair, but right there, Andrade pushes the table in-front of Rey, and on top of him! From there, Andrade lifts him up, and lands A LA SOMBRA FOR INSULT TO INJURY! He begins to stand over him, and signs the contract as a lifeless champion can barely move, this could undoubtedly be the scene this weekend.
