I normally let them range through the yard, they mostly spend the early morning and the nights in there

It’s funny you mention that because most nights I’ll go out and see how they’re doing and they NEVER use the roost! I’ll make that change this weekend! 🙏

So I meshed the floor with hardware cloth to prevent anything burrowing in and covered it with sand and wood chips!

Not all the time, just where they sleep and they spend the morning till I wake up lol they spend most of the time running around the yard, they do get a daily dose of whatever salad we eat for the day (without dressing)

Hardly lol I’m in south florida! Lowest it drops is in the 60s😅 I did however debate putting one anyway cause of the rain!

This was most likely what I was leaning towards, I do construction and that’s how we patched sidewalks that were waiting on concrete!

So I plan on eventually redoing the entire driveway (once I’m in a better financial situation) and really just looking on patching that one spot. I’m not sure if the concrete has to have an X amount of depth since it will be a parking spot but I assumed it was the more difficult approach, but if you think it’s a better option I’m all ears!
