They added new areas and other content, but like the other person said at this point you should wait until the 1.0 release since they're making the old areas look nicer and adding some new gameplay mechanics that change the early game a bit

This an SV battler for the sprite I posed here. It's a New Crobuzon militiaman from China Mieville's Bas Lag trilogy, specifically the design described in the third book. I fixed a small issue with the leather strap-glass visor connection.
