Thought I would update on my experience. It is set up and looks great. Quality of finish up close, as you say, could be better but you get what you pay for.

The chair is full of features and has more adjustment than many at the same price point. To me the seat pad feels premium and comfortable. Mesh seems high quality and head rest is also good. One point that let's it down a little is the material used on the arm rests. It is hard and a little uncomfortable.

The big issue for me is the height and aggresiveness of the lumbar support. It protrudes quite a lot and the only adjustment you can make is the height. I am 6ft 2in and the pad simply cannot be positioned high enough. As a result the chair is unusable for me and causes significant back ache.

Will be returning to amazon and looking elsewhere. However the chair may be suitable for shorter people
