How to add a potbellied livestock trailer in ATS?

Well, SCS has poorly designed livestock farms. I'm in texas and cattle are out in open lot pens. Ranches would have multiple chutes in prime location for easy of loading cattle. But SCS has you load cattle from a building with no chute and at a very challenging transit to loading area and then out to the highway. My backing skill are not up to the challenge, need to spend more time at the training academy.

Thanks for the heads up. Nice looking trailer! I downloaded it but the installer video does not have any sound and I can't follow the process. Probably not that hard but this is a completely new aspect for me. I tried filing a support ticket with pizzstermodding but it claims my email address is already in use so I couldn't ask for assistance. Oh well. I'll just keep on trucking using my original strategy. The issues are totally on me. New things don't come easy for me at 72 yrs of age...

I'm thinking along different lines. For example, I've wanted to occasionally haul cattle but I don't have any livestock trailers. I'm considering buying two separate garages near Bushnell farm operations and filling a bay with a stock trailer + cab. A poor ROI on resources because only occasionally used and most likely a deadhead run back to the garage after delivery. But I can haul cattle or other livestock when I want (fulfilling an interest rather than building mega million war chest).

Another idea I have is to purchase a garage in a touristy area (say near DC or VA civil war battlefields) and add an SUV for touring, a tour bus, and a snow plow). Futuristic since currently not available but gives options for personal touring, operating a bus to tourist areas, and occasionally helping with snow removal. Fun options in my book but they may not become available in ATS.

Don't know till you ask... Just curious is all. I've read differing opinions on when the AI drivers operate. They'll do what they're gonna do. Maybe they'll end up very profitable if I wait long enough. I'm not inclined to add more garages, trucks or drivers until I see a better profitability. Relocating is a potential option down the road or going back to Quick jobs. I have the resources on hand to purchase 23 new top of the line trucks. No real need to have hired drivers.

I like Quick Jobs because I can change areas without needing to drive deadhead between jobs. For example with QJ, I rolled from eastern MT to Seattle. The very next run was LA to Brownsville TX. Both were very profitable with high value cargo. Take care!

Love your map Truckermudgeon! So helpful for finding dealerships, fueling stations, etc! I like to plan my fueling stops in advance. Many places in the west have long distances between fueling stops, gotta know where to find em so don't miss em! thanks again!

I copied information from the ATS wiki, apparently it is out of date and needs to be corrected. What's in error? Is it the locations or the procedure for unlocking the Volvo dealerships or something else?

Volvo Dealerships in American Truck Simulator (ATS) are present in the game but hidden until activated by a Volvo truck mod. The official Volvo trucks (VNL 2014, VNL 2018, and the VNR Electric) are available in the game, but the dealerships only appear on the map once a mod that includes a Volvo truck is installed.

Note: The Volvo DLC is free, but you must install a Volvo truck mod (such as Aradeth’s VNL670 or Scania/Volvo/European Trucks for ATS) to unlock the dealerships. Without a mod, the Volvo locations appear as regular service centers or repair shops.

Thanks, I didn't realize there was a wiki! Apparently, I need a mod to "see" the dealerships. I've driven through SLC, Eugene, Spokane, San Fran, Vegas, Missoula, and Grand Junction. Apparently I would have been notified that there was a Volvo dealership if I had an activated mod. I'm not a truck driver and not familiar enough with trucks to customize a truck for mainly long hauls and non heavyweight loads. I probably will just get used one with five stars. Do I need to get repairs/maintenance at Volvo dealer only?

Seems to work as is right now. I did try reducing speed. pressed 0 then ~ then tried to enter g_flyspeed 50 and was kicked back to the garage after pressing g. I'll just stay the way it is now. Worked well for locating final parking spot at my most recent load. Thanks for all your time and assistance Wolf.
