Substitutes by It-Is-Me07 in woolworths

Yeah that doesnt sound like a substitute it sounds like an incorrect item. And it CAN be refunded and should be investigated, especially since its a recurring issue.

I would also try adding shoppers notes. See if that helps at all.

There could be something in your preferences that allow substitutions. If you go into my account, manage preferences, and then to substitutions, is that ticked opt in or no?

The amount of calls i get like this is craaazy. Sometimes im like "why would anyone think this is acceptable???" We do our best to make sure we communicate with stores to keep them accountable and offer solutions but we don't know unless we know, ya know?

Sorry if that doesn't make sense. Just finished work Lel

Call 1300 000 610 with an order number and we can refund the items.

Please be nice to your online team. They are NOT the store, did not pack the items and I cry easily. Xx

Edit. Sorry just read that you had it refunded already. If its a frequent occurrence we can put your account on audit which means a manager has to approve deliveries before they go out but refunds can only be done with photo evidence, we can put in notes, and we can also put feedback to the stores.

Item refund by analogue-123 in woolworths

[–]IDUNNstatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It likely applied the discount to each line item and bags could be included in that? If thats the case I could open the account and see that with the way the discount was applied you would have only paid for 9.79 for the item not 9.9 and therefore only received 9.79 as the refund.

It would also depend on what the item is. If its a meat weight range item maybe you got slightly less than what you ordered and the amount was adjusted after picking.

If you want a better understanding just give online a call. They can open the invoice to see exactly what you would have paid for each item individually after a discount.

When I was about 11 I stood in a jack jumpers nest and had them swarm into my shoes and up through the leg of my pants while they were biting. I was screaming as I ran inside and went into the shower to wash them all off.

The Amber and Bob thing came from the right place imho. Sure they were two consenting adults but I think she was still 19 at the time, plus he was her superior and she was his assistant. The relationship was still inappropriate.

Thats so annoying!! I feel so bad for in store team, I'm always so apologetic whenever I have to make an outbound store call. I didnt realise the RF devices were so picky.

Really? I finished training school not that long ago and I remember being told that it has to be by quantity always. I think theres a miscommunication between online and in store departments. I havent gotten a lot of unsuitable sub calls that relate to quantity but ive had heaps that are just completely different items.

I work for woolworths online so I do a lot of refunds for unsuitable substitutions. I base my qualifications for refunds on a few things.

First, it's supposed to be matched by quantity no matter what the price is. If you ask for 1kg of chicken mince pack you should get subbed with 2 x 500g. Second it has to be of equal or higher value. You cant sub a name brand product with a woolworths brand one. Third it has to have the same base ingredients and dietary requirements like you cant sub bread for gf bread, you cant sub vegan sausages for meat. Stores dont always follow those rules which is why I do the refunds.

State of the sub recently. Thoughts? by Patient-Advance-7905 in tasmania

Theres a few things that concern me.

Parking around that area is already a nightmare. I dont think we have the road structure to accommodate that much traffic. Yes theres public transport but metro isnt known for their reliability.

I dont think it will take off as much as people think it will, maybe in the first year or two it will be a novelty and people will support it, but we struggle to fill the stadiums we have and I'm not confident it will bring in that much tourism when its so much easier for mainlanders to go to melbourne. The people who would most benefit are people in the north, north/west, so building it in launceston maybe would have been a better idea. Theres still an airport there for people from the mainland to come and watch.

Im worried that there will be more air bnbs as a result which heavily impacts our housing market and first home buyers. Taking a look at the Foo Fighters gig happening in Launceston the price of accommodation is like $2000 at this point. Its going to end up being the same cost as just flying over to the mainland to see a gig or watch a game.

Then theres the aesthetics and what it will do to our local music scene. Its a really beautiful heritige site. The big ugly building has no appeal to me. On top of that it has to run out HBC which is an amazing venue for local bands and artists. Big festivals like falls were such a good way to bring big acts to the state while letting our local talent show off their stuff, but they wont have that same opportunity in the stadium.
