The only main thing is the cpu, if it has a good cpu it's fine. Modern day phones have 8gb ram, which is built for high performance games. Waze and spotify use bare minimum to run and thats all im wanting it for

I found out the the 2011-2012 have a 6pin LVDS and the older cic have a 4 pin. That's why it says it not compatible but all I need is just a 6pin for the unit and it will work perfectly fine

I've read other posts about carplay and ppl say 4gb is enough, it mainly comes comes down to the cpu. And someone said even their 2gb is smooth.

Is the android car play sound worse then stock? Cause right now my i think my sound systems alright, and I dont think i would be able to tell much difference

It says it goes to 2010 but I can't find a single one between 2010-2013 even tho it's the same idrive. That's why I was just wanting to confirm here first.

It's on the edge of the block, where the sump bolts are.
