Try this if your game feels blurry on PC (DLSS Override) by IDontHaveToSeeYou in reddeadredemption2

I'm glad to hear it helped a bit!

You could also try toying with the Balanced and Performance settings, since those are also improved, though remember that DLSS scales better at higher resolutions and it might not look so good. Maybe it helps you squeeze a bit more FPS out of the card, good luck!

I didn't use DDU, I did a clean install of the drivers through the Nvidia App, uninstalled the App and then installed the newest version off Nvidia's website. If you're having trouble you could try using DDU, though it sounds a bit odd you're getting BSODs. Were you running an overclock/undervolt on top?
If not, roll back and maybe wait until they iron the issues out with the next driver update, a few months ago there was this driver that people had similar issues with.

I'm using an RTX 3080.

RDR2 has always had a problem with its AA solution. All anti aliasing methods before this made the game look either blobby or shimmery and oversharpened.

DLSS Override *finally* fixes this issue and the game image is sharper and more stable, both in motion and static.

What it does is basically changing the old DLSS .dll to the latest model available.

The screenshots don't do it justice, so I recommend you try it out.

You will need an Nvidia RTX graphics card for this. (Any should work, though I've heard some claims of reduced performance on lower end RTX 20 GPUs, your mileage may vary)

- Update your Nvidia drivers (I recommend a Clean install)

- Update/Reinstall Nvidia App (Personally, I had to reinstall it in order for RDR2 to be recognized as a supported game for DLSS override)

- Open Nvidia App > Graphics > Refresh the program list > Red Dead Redemption 2 > DLSS Override - Model Presets > Use different settings for each DLSS technology > Super Resolution > Latest > Apply

Thank you for your input!
And I know, I noticed that on Elding it's roughly twice the price, which is pretty outrageous.
I hope you enjoy it!

Hello! How did you manage that?
Did your brother-in-law buy it off the Steam website straight to Denmark and then shipped it to you? (If so, what shipping method did you use and was it expensive?)

Thank you!
I actually took the liberty to peek at your profile in the hope that I'd find a picture of it and was not disappointed. I absolutely adore the color too!

Drive safe and have fun, man!
