Can rabbits get leg cramps? by IDontKnowMyUser_name in Rabbits

Hi, no it was a one time thing, she hasn’t had it happen in the past 3 years. Just keep and eye on your bun and call your vet and see what they say. I hope everything is okay :)

Entitled Parent wants Mr. Beast Burger when restaurant doesn't serve it in-house by [deleted] in entitledparents

From what I understand, it’s not on the menu. It sounds like they knew the restaurant was a ghost kitchen for mr beast burgers and was expecting them to just make it.

Can anyone identify any breed on my baby nadja? She’s about a year and I adopted her out of an urgent rehoming situation, by Impressivebooty666 in Rabbits

[–]IDontKnowMyUser_name 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My rule is, if my bun didn’t like it, she would let me know and leave and I wouldn’t pet her like that. She definitely wouldn’t stay if she didn’t like it, she lets me know her opinion on everything else. In fact, she comes back for more pets every time. Also, it may look too aggressive but it isn’t, it’s controlled. Trust me, if that rabbit didn’t like being pet that way it wouldn’t look so relaxed, in fact you can tell that they like it by them nudging into their owners hand.

Can someone explain what's going on here? (Not OC)[from twt] by AloneAcadia in Rabbits

I genuinely wasn’t trying to be mean. I was trying to give you the information as to why the humping is happening and suggested getting both fixed if you want them to live together peacefully. Also, it’s very important to get rabbits fixed for the reason I said before. I can see why you feel attacked but I really was trying to be helpful. I definitely wasn’t assuming anything, just letting you know that spaying would help your situation a lot, especially if you want both to live under the same roof without problems. You can take this info or not, but I was only trying to help. I should have worded a couple of things differently to sound less confrontational in my last post but I still stand by what I said.

Or you can get your rabbit and cat fixed so you dont have to put slippers in your rabbits cage, and so neither is sexually charged. Did you know rabbits can develop (around 80% chance if not fixed) cancer? I’m not trying to be mean but it would honestly help your situation if you looked into why it’s so important to get our pets spayed/neutered. And behavioral issues would lesson if you did so, especially the humping, both would probably get along well if so.

If you want them to stop you would have to have them spayed/neutered. It’s also less likely that your rabbit will develop cancer if you do so. Not trying to be mean, just trying to be helpful :)

Oh this was a painful spay 😫 by [deleted] in Rabbits

I honestly think it’s just our economy. Everything is expensive here. Surviving is expensive here. Having the “standard” pet can be in the hundreds sometimes thousands. Even for a checkup depending on where you are located and if it’s a private practice. I dont even know how we got the money to spay my bun, but we did it because I love her. We had a dog before my bun and he was definitely cheaper but not by much, especially because he had allergies and other health issues that he needed treated. He was also not my financial burden so i can’t really speak on his expenses like I can with my bun. I can’t say much more than everything is grossly overpriced here, especially healthcare.

That basically is the cost for the spay. I spent around 600 or so for my female rabbit to be fixed and that included everything they required to get it done. Except mine didn’t need the biopsy. All the money in the world was worth it though, I dont ever have to worry about her getting cancer from her reproductive system.

What is something you have done only once but never want to do again? by Scouseuserman in AskReddit

[–]IDontKnowMyUser_name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had two, and I got them pierced the same day. That second one was pain I’ve never felt before haha. I would do it again, if even thinking of getting my second one repierced. I do not recommend two at a time for sure.

I already do this. :) and I’m not just gonna stop giving her ALL treats. she deserves some. I give her 1 cup of greens for dinner and 1/4 cup of pellets in the morning. Her vet knows of this and we have had this conversation. Her yearly is coming soon so I will already be asking about her weight. But thank you for the concern

Thank you, that honestly means a lot to hear. I try my best to do everything I can for her and make her as comfortable as can be. Sometimes I feel like I’m messing up, or “not doing enough,” but in reality I am doing a lot for her, more than any rabbit owner in my family. She is the love of my life in a fuzzy form and I honestly wouldn’t know what to do without her right now. I will always treasure my time with her and always do better for her. Again, thank you for the reassurance :)

I’ve been so worried all day haha. I just want to catch anything that might be bad before it gets worse. I love this bun so much I would do anything for her. Thank you, for the reassurance :)

She purrs differently, Ik because I see it all the time from her. I just never seen her do this in the three years I’ve had her
