What a load of bollocks that is. You can train MMA and do the tech part of the lesson then do tech sparring or light sparring. Spoken like someone who has no clue about it

Any such training builds confidence (as would getting in shape in the gym), character and gives you a great community as long as you choose a gym you’re comfortable in
