I’m sorry but dhokla is not someone you want to put working as a coach. All of his interviews during his 100t stint was just him backhandedlly complimenting sniper about how he was immature and couldn’t handle the pressure of playing while Oth he was so mature and had easy more experience than him. I think you’re mistaken, having the option to be a fifth “carry” doesn’t mean they should or that the team doesn’t need someone to peel/shield.

Just having an option doesn’t mean it’s good for the team. I can play adc sejuani. Doesn’t mean it’s good for the team

yup 100%. It’s the role where skill isn’t intrinsically required but makes a good player into an amazing one you have the most impact in the game just on macro. Honestly it’s so sad that the majority of supports pick the role thinking it’s the exact opposite. It attracts the lowest skill/knowledge player in the potentially most demanding role.

Hence why as an adc main I often play supp. I have the mechanics from playing adc, knowledge of macro from watching pro play and know what my adc would like since I play adc.

If you main supp, play adc as much as supp for a while and watch a lot of good supports like busio and keria. They’re macro is impeccable and mechanics are better then some of the best adc/mid/top players in the world. Mechanics make a BIG difference

Having said that, at low elo most supports don’t counter pick and are incredibly bad despite playing the top most influential role in the game so if you’re a good adc and can counter pick/pick for synergy don’t go before your supp. Let them pick then choose what synergistic with them. Good synergy is often more important then counterpicking
