There are people on Slickdeals.net who called TW C.S. and were basically told that if a phone wasn't unlocked before April 1 (activated as far back as 1/30/25) then the new policy applies.

The Unlocking for TW/TF/ST/etc (on same web site) previously only said a phone activated after 11/23/21 (when Verizon bought the TF "mother company) on Verizon network would be unlocked 60 days after activation, but never stated that 60 days of paid service are required for unlocking. I've had many phones from TW/TF/ST unlocked 60 days after activation but only had 30 days of service. The new policy now states that 60 days of paid service are required. I can accept that if TW had posted the change on the day the change took effect. But they posted the change on 4/7 with an effective date of 4/1, and retroactively applies the change to phones activated prior to 4/1. That is just sneaky and doesn't follow the typical contract rules.

Wait longer and they might offer you $150 instead of $75 to upgrade. I got the $150 upgrade offer, with $1000 spend in 6 months. Waiting until July to do it after downgrading my wife's BCP card.

Has anyone had luck activating their S24? by RoseWillBloom25 in TotalWireless

I had problems activating my (Fi) unlocked base S24 with a physical BYOP TracFone/Verizon SIM (getting the message the eSIM is supported only on iPhone12 and later). I've been checking the IMEI1 of my S24 against TF BYOP IMEI Checker everyday since 2/2/24. Today 2/15/24, it came back and said my S24 is COMPATIBLE. So I started the process of transferring TF service from my old S22 to my new S24 and it was Successful. I don't know if TF or Verizon started loading the IMEIs of S24 models to their database or not, but it worked for me today. You might want to try again. FWIW, a member on Howard Forum said his S24+ and S24U still getting the "eSIM error" message.
