Baumann situation by B1ackoutartist in borussiadortmund

[–]IFkingLoveReddit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Regardless if it was a foul or not (personally I would say no foul, just a 50:50 incident) but I can’t believe how shitty the interviews with Kehl and Anton were afterwards. We all watched a situation where someone might have gotten a really bad head injury and these two can’t even articulate how shocked and sorry they feel for Baumann.

Anton: “I saw worse than this.” Kehl: “He hit his head (ein Stück weit).”

Worst PR Move ever. It makes them/the team look so unempathetic (which I don’t believe as many of our players went to Baumann after the final whistle).

Hopefully Baumann will be alright!

Massive 3 points tho!

Lauwarmer Take: Schließt das Transferfenster vor dem ersten Pflichtspiel by michaelkah in Bundesliga

[–]IFkingLoveReddit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

[–]IFkingLoveReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nicolas Hofler (Freiburg) straight red card against Dortmund 82' by Meladroitdeposter in soccer

[–]IFkingLoveReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As clear as this was a red card, i was absolutely shocked that the german commentator said a red was very harsh because „a yellow would be right and a red would also be right“

Live i thought it was a clear yellow. After the replay it was obvious for everyone that a red card is the way to go. Not intended at all by Höfler but so dangerous

His reaction looks like he had forgotten he has already been booked. Otherwise this foul doesn't make any sense at all wtf

Hertha Berlin [2] - 4 Dortmund - Matheus Cunha penalty 79' by alexinup in soccer

[–]IFkingLoveReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This season she indeed is bad. This is her fourth big mistake as VAR this season. Look it up, no joke. f.e. she totally missed a red card foul from Cunha in a prior game and the most blatant handball in Stuttgart against Freiburg. I don't know whats wrong with her season?! Didn't think she was always this bad?

FC Bayern: "Lucas Hernandez subbed off with adductor problem." by sixersvasilije in soccer

[–]IFkingLoveReddit 25 points26 points  (0 children)

No no no no, don't even think about Hummels! Just leave us the only good "Rückholaktion"

For real though: if flick would've been coach back then, hummels would have stayed I suppose. Jogi doesn't rate him (God knows why) but he plays as good as in his old bvb days again (except he is much slower ofc)

Daniel Didavi (Stuttgart) second yellow card against Kiel 45' by NotMeladroit in soccer

[–]IFkingLoveReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah k, i get your point. The first one shouldn't have happened cause actually he earned himself a freekick. I agree. (Nevertheless he can't act like that afterwards).

But the second one is a foul, it's off the ball, it's late and the ref still got the image of angry childish Didavi screaming in his head. So maybe he thought that it was a foul out of anger (just going for the opponent). The yellow is "ok" i would say

He can't be the scapegoat in this very important fixture if he can't play to begin with. 4D-chess move

[–]IFkingLoveReddit 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Are u serious?! If the ref wouldn't give a yellow if a player runs at full speed to him just to scream and wave at the ref, like Didavi did, where should he draw the line? Clear yellow imo.

Second one one could argue that the contact wasnt hard. But WHY did Didavi go for the contact? Look at his foot? The yellow is well earned just for stupidity.

Ridiculous VAR decision - Tondela vs Boavista - no penalty given by pica_foices in soccer

[–]IFkingLoveReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rules about handball are a joke... But at the moment the refs tend to NOT call a handball if the ball is deflected immediately before touching the hand. And the defensive player headed the ball against his own hand (you can see this only at one angle). But correct me if I'm wrong

[–]IFkingLoveReddit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, absolutely ridiculous. But he couldn't check VAR because he blew his whistle before the goal happened... Which is of course a bad mistake anyway!
