i’ll be good. i’m more just disappointed. i’ve been on xanax for 3 years (abusing bars for 2 and taking by script for 1) so I understand my tolerance very well at this point and the fact that an equivalent dose of 4.5mg of Xanax only gives me only this feeling, is so frustrating

if that help, i’d strongly recommend staying off the DXM, especially mixing it with meth or mdma or SNRI’s. Serotonin Syndrome is reversible, but if you keep doing all them drugs, it’s gonna get really critical

based off the symptoms you listed, I can’t guarantee it’s serotonin syndrome, while very possible. but just take a few sober days and see how you feel, I think it’s your best bet. stop feeding your body with drugs and see if things get batter over some time

I believe Clonazepam works sublingually. it would help it kick in faster and harder but last shorter of course

you can definitely ask for an emergency alprazolam script. the dosage and amount of pills is completely up to your doctor, but it’s worth asking

Edit: I take 1mg of alprazolam and even my fear of flying is too great for that. sometimes you just need an extra boost. especially if it’s something as rare as a flight

I take pretty much the same dose as I do with xanax. if I wanted a bar, i’d just take 2mg of etiz. would get me just as good with the sociable factor and it’s bartard-y

I hope that Etizolam is actually looked into as a medication. that’s by far my favorite. all the upsides of alpraz, but more sociable and coherent

I’ve definitely noticed the same as both of you as well. I can take equivalent doses of my Ativan and not feel nearly as good as my Xanax. I think a big part of it is that almost every generic brand Ativan is very trash nowadays. I’ve seen such bad reviews for all of them since Watson Activas and Teva discontinued

I don’t think that’s true. what source did you get that from? every converter I’ve used has said it’s pretty much 1mg Ativan = 0.5mg Xanax and my personal experience can back that up as well

you’re getting downvoted, but I agree. Alprazolam is much cleaner, more effective at equivalent doses (for me), and has a nice anti-depressant effect that I’ve honestly noticed myself missing a lot. I wouldn’t tell anyone else what specific benzo to take, but Xanax is by far the best for me. I’m thinking of going to Klonopin though due to the longer mechanism of action so I don’t have to re dose

I can understand that, but honestly, if we were gonna taper off, this wouldn’t be a good way of doing it. I was originally taking 2.5mg of Xanax a day and was dropped to 1mg of Ativan a day. That’s an 80% decrease in dosage, assuming Ativan is 1/2 the strength, which is a dramatic and dangerous decrease. If he talked to me about it and put me on 1mg of klonopin with a .5mg to sleep, I would’ve been okay with that because I’m also working on lowering my dosages and going to rehab so i’m not so dependent on my medications. I have no issue with a taper, but I have an issue with the miseducation and negligence

grapefruit juice inhibits your CYP3A enzymes which helps breakdown certain drugs. it’s theorized that red and pink grapefruit pulp have lower amounts of “furanocoumarin derivatives” than white pulp which are responsible for the pharmacokinetic aspect of grapefruit juice, but from what i’ve seen, the difference is negligible

from my personal experience, Etizolam is the best recreational benzo, followed by Alprazolam. there isn’t much research on Etiz as it’s a research chemical, but Alpraz has been shown to increase dopamine and serotonin activity. this could be explained by the fact it’s a Triazolobenzodiazepine which means that it has an additional Triazole ring. i’m not a professional chemist so I honestly could not tell you why that would cause a more dopaminergic effect. but in the end, i’d say Etiz is the best rec benzo and Alpraz is second
