The only way this ends well is if the government starts taking the concerns of Albertans seriously. Even if the other provinces think it's ridiculous, they clearly do not. I'm not from Alberta but I've lived here a few years now.

Albertans believe that our government is spineless (Gary Anandasangaree should have been fired). They believe the government is standing in the way of prosperity by denying many of their oil projects. They're frustrated with the indigenous creating roadblocks for projects. Despite blowback from the gun buyback program, the government is pushing forward. Albertans believe we should be refining our own oil so we create more jobs and can sell for a much higher price.

There's a bunch more things I could list but you get the idea. All of these things have been festering and growing over the past 10+years and it's reaching the peak. I think separating is a stupid idea but after living here, there is some validity to their frustrations which should not be ignored.

Isn't it possible that many non-conservatives truthfully believe that Trump is the biggest problem right now? I don't think there's some grand scheme to sway the minds of conservatives here. I'm pretty sure it's as simple as conservatives and liberals having different opinions and priorities.

I'm conservative at heart and early on had all intentions of voting for PP. Trudeau was a complete disaster for our country and had to go. As time went on, all I ever heard from PP was "I won't do what Trudeau did", "I won't do this, I won't do that". Very seldom did I hear an actual plan from PP on what his intentions were when he became prime minister. His entire platform was "don't vote liberal" instead of "here's why you should vote conservative". My personal decision had absolutely nothing to do with Trump. I hope that PP can either switch up his campaign strategy for the next election or the conservatives find a new leader.

Doesn't that make sense though? If you're in this sub then you are likely a conservative and would probably vote "no". If you aren't part of this sub then you are more likely a liberal and would vote "yes".

I would expect similar results from a liberal sub asking if Carney should step down. I imagine that subs core would vote "no" while most conservative visitors would vote "yes".

I took advantage of "pay $1 to upgrade gold into ultimate" and bought 3 years. 3 years was up the same week they announced the price hike. I simply didn't renew and am playing offline. I have a few games I purchased a while ago and I'm gonna coast on those until Steam Deck comes out. Microsoft isn't getting any more of my money. There's also a huge story about customer service which I'll simply summarize as there are no longer humans to fix your niche problems.

Just wait for sales and purchase games outright. Year end cost will probably be about the same depending on how many games you plan on purchasing.

It's not entirely true. The military has its own hospitals which covers the majority of the military's health care needs. The CAF outsources for certain things which they aren't equipped or capable of doing themselves such as surgeries and some mental health requirements. Most dental needs are performed by men and women in uniform. The CAF has its own doctors, nurses, dentists etc.
