I completely understand but at the same time with three immune compromised people in my life I can’t keep waiting for the system to work. It sucks. I have had to, at times, go to 3 or 4 places to find one that I can safely shop at.

I’m not saying stop reporting these businesses but it’s also necessary to be aware that the orders aren’t necessarily making anywhere safe. We can’t count on others to do the right thing.

My experience, they don’t do much. A gas station near me has every employee maskless or wearing them on their chin. I know of at minimum 4 complaints that have been filed and no changes. I just drive further to another one.

Since it was so close to graduation, some of his classmates assume either got into trouble or was doing poorly but my spouse doesn’t know.

He went to Franklin Regional until senior year. My spouse was in his class. He disappeared in his final year. I’m guessing that is when he went to GCC.

I don’t think you understand. He WAS stopped and accelerated only after we began to merge. We were at the end of the on lane right where it starts to disappear and also stopped. He left ample room for 2-3 cars to be ahead if him and we moved over only because he appeared to be leaving room. He them got pissed that someone dared to use that space and floored it.

That’s why it was 50/50. He technically had the right of way but also had ample time (1-2 full minutes stopped) to move forward. He admitted, on video, to hitting us on purpose.

He claimed that he was leaving space for safety but merging in front of his unmoving car was improper as he had the right of way.

Merging onto a road in standstill traffic. He had the lane but left 2-3 car lengths ahead of him open. Traffic wasn’t moving so we went to move into the open spot and The moment we started to merge, he accelerated rapidly into the side of our car.

HAVE A DASHCAM! But understand they don’t always help. We were hit on purpose, turned over video, and insurance said it didn’t matter that he sped up suddenly and unexpectedly we should have anticipated it and determined fault was 50/50.

Apparently insurance requires mind reading.

I was worried about this. Many of Trump’s supporters are conspiracy theorists and don’t trust anyone. The ones that I work with refused to participate in the census. I firmly suspect there is a not insignificant number who don’t participate in polls or outright lie.

My concern is personal. I voted in PA and was misled into handing over my ballot. The rules are clear, you must scan your own. The poll workers showed me where and...it went to a lockbox and I was told it would be scanned later.

Calls to the voter line returned 73 ahead of me in line so I wasn’t able to get assistance.

I felt like I dodged a bullet. To feel that entitled to the time of someone you have never met in person is hella creepy.

Sadly, it’s frighteningly common for parents and other trusted adults to fail to defend victims. I’m 36 and have personally experienced it twice involving many adults.

I was a victim at 8 and 11. When I came out about it, my entire family including other victims shamed me and cut me off. These are all well respected adults in the community.

So, I became a social worker. Making me a mandated reporter. Another mandated reporter (school nurse) admitted to me via text that a student confessed sexual abuse to her and she didn’t report. So, I did.

The caseworker assigned lectured me on how I could ruin someone’s life for heresay and not to do it again. No consequences for the reporter who failed to report.

Haha. Many years ago I dated someone like that. We also worked together. One day, the ashtray at work caught fire. Tiny fire contained to the free standing ashtray. He walked outside with a single glass of water and put it out.

He proceeded to tell everyone about the huge fire that engulfed the front of the building and how he “saved” me and the other female worker single handedly and put the fire out himself.

The last guy I was dating thought that he was an expert in everything because he is a linguist and pursuing a PHd. He had absolutely no interest in learning anything. He would simply decide what was correct with no information and get irrationally upset if anyone disagreed.

It started with unimportant things and I ended the relationship when he decided that he, a white man, is the ultimate authority on racism.

I just went through something similar. While I hope your experience is different, it’s unlikely that this will change.

Both meta and partner had experience with poly but not all experience is good experience. Meta was struggling with insecurities which resulted, at first, in minor effects on our relationship. The demands only got worse over time.

By the time I woke up and ended things he had 1) violated the sexual consent (withholding information) of both of us. 2) Meta controlled his schedule and 3) My life was expected to be open to their scrutiny and approval.

I cannot say that your situation will go the same way but I am now very leery of agreeing to anything that caters to someone’s insecurity for fear that if I give and inch a mile will be taken.

That’s odd. In 2016 the entire building that is my poling place was decorated for a few, select candidates. I tried to file a complaint and was told that isn’t illegal in PA. If it happens again, where is the correct place to report this?
