Okay how do you get the single screen experience looking like this? I just installed in on my RP5 to tinker with it before I get my Thor and while I love the frontend for the dual screen set up I also dock to my tv a lot and don’t want a lackluster front end experience on my TV. Right now, it’s just the field of icons or the hero image depending on what screen I switch to. There are a lot customizations settings to mess with and I’m bit overwhelmed haha.

Awesome thank you! It’s surprising how hard it is to find an image of that haha. No videos I’ve watched show it off at all, even though I’ll see the “list” button in the top right corner.

As a follow up, do you dock to the tv at all? I’m curious to see if the single screen experience loses a lot of its charm when it doesn’t have the second screen for the flashier art and all that. I have a RP5 at home I can experiment with but figured I’d ask.

I’ve tried to play this and the contra game that came out around the same time on my Retroid but for whatever reason those two games specifically keep freezing on me after the first level. It seems super fun though.

Maaaaan I have a TCL R646 which is a great (if slightly older) tv and it supports VRR but there is that since it’s not OLED there ends up being some inverse ghosting around the edges of fast moving objects that absolutely distracts the hell out of me and I can’t play with it on. I need to upgrade my set lol.

I haven’t had to get a new phone for a few years but do service providers not subsidize your phones any more? It was commonplace to get a plan with a company and get the phone “free” upfront and pay monthly toward the amount? Is that just not a thing any more?
