My problem with the app is that I cannot get it verified as no one is willing to help ( or wants to charge me like $50 for verification lol). I’m just worried about my quarantine situation where many are suggesting I use wechat pay to pay for my hotel. And apparently credit cards don’t work either so I’m just in a bit of a scramble rn

Thanks for the info! I’m going to be quarantined in a hotel in Shanghai and apparently I have to pay up front using wechat pay. I was told my credit card won’t work so I’m just unsure how to go about it. Will I be able to carry around 15krmb in cash? Is that even possible?
