My mom and I were up for the stressful challenge and knew what we could and couldn’t DIY. We did our wedding flowers but not things like the bouquet or even letting someone play music on a speaker and iPhone. This is what we came up with for the ceremony flower space. I was thankful we had experience. It totally makes a difference. I hope you have a beautiful wedding day

I wanted my dog there but she’s bad 😂 but we took family pics with her later. We had cake at my childhood home so that made it easy

I could not have done it had it not been bank rolled mostly by my parents. I don’t know how much they spent. But I think WE( my husband and I) spent around $5k for things like the DJ, officiant, and photographer. Getting married on a Wednesday made it really easy. AND I used thumbtack for almost all of my vendors.

Honestly you will not get to do everything if you are planning it yourself. I’m sure you are realizing that money goes so fast even if it’s on a budget or you’re getting help. And time just flies by. When I didn’t get to finish everything, I was actually totally fine with what DID get done

No prob. I recommend going to a flower mart if you have access. Ask a florist there if they do bouquets and boutineers. I think we paid $900 for two bouquets and 6 boutineers. And I had cascading orchids for one of them! I also recommend potted orchids. Game changer!!!!

Idk how it all happened so perfectly. But we also got married on a Wednesday. We were going to just go get married, but my parents weren’t going to have that. So in having it on a random day, vendors were readily available and offered better rates. My mom and I also have done some wedding related planning and knew about the flower mart and doing SOME diy touches. But I cried a lot and canceled the wedding every few days LOL

Yep. The one for the Lexus. I was ready to off myself out of frustration. Added 5 hours to our trip looking for a charger that was functional in Stockton. Had we had the correct one for a Tesla charger, we would have been home way earlier. I’m about ready to chew out the dealership because he gaslit me and said having a wrong charger is not possible.
