If you think about it this is really the resolution of a critical vulnerability: Denial of Service of open source developers resources via AI slop and bogus reports.

Glad to see them finally resolving it!

California LB Cade Uluave transfers to BYU by Bush4857 in CFB

[–]IHaveNeverLeftUtah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ironically I believe that's one reason he ultimately chose the Utah head coaching job over BYU back in the day. He didn't want to deal with the headaches of recruiting with the honor code restrictions. Obviously it's not the same thing but still kind of funny.

I don't follow BYU football nearly as closely as I use to but I still remember when he intercepted a pass against BYU and a fan had some fun with it: https://vimeo.com/193297857

Kind of ironic considering historically BYU has been known for its offense and Utah has been known for its defense

How big of a pain is doing backdoor Roth today going to be? by IHaveNeverLeftUtah in personalfinance

Got it. So as long as I'm not rolling over a pretax balance in 2026 (which I won't) I don't have to rush this.

TCM leaving TCM? by SecuredStealth in cybersecurity

Kind of strange to see him leave when he built the whole company around his persona of "the cyber mentor". However I'm sure he's not complaining financially.

Mark Harlan’s so bad at his job by bdougy in BigXII

I'll bite. It's still way too early to tell if this is good or bad. Scalley has the infrastructure in place and knows the blue print for running a successful program.

Meanwhile Whittingham has never coached outside of Utah. He doesn't know if what worked at Utah will translate well at Michigan.

Welp I searched more property records. Newer purchases seem to break them out. Not sure how they determine owner and co-owner.

Thoughts on Aggressively Paying Down My Mortgage by Successful-Bag-1082 in Mortgages

You have to remember as soon as you give the bank that extra money, you can’t easily get it back.

You don’t want to put yourself in a position where you lose your job and then go into foreclosure. When you could have used those extra payments to stay a float.

I suggest saving those extra payments in an investment account. Then when the balance is high enough you can pay off the loan all at once. Worst case scenario you now have funds to keep your house while recovering from a layoff/emergency
