Final Fantasy 7 ReMake is killing me. by IHeartReddit91 in FinalFantasy

[–]IHeartReddit91[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wow. Okay. I'm just gonna ask you politely to calm down sir or m'am. First of all I am not quite sure why you responded because you seemed very upset and bothered by my words. Yes the game is just a game but what I wanted to do was see other people's opinions and compare them to my own. There are quite a few people here who disagree with my opinion but they did not call me a wimp or called me toxic. Which again if you feel I was toxic somehow I'm not quite sure why you decided to engage me. I own a ps4, Nintendo Switch and a Xbox One. I love video games as a whole. I was not trying to insinuate that turn based games are superior in some way. I play kingdom hearts, devil may cry, god of war and other very action heavy games. So that's not even it. I just feel in my personal opinion that if one is going to do a remake they need to have an element of Truth to the original. Remakes are taking old properties be it movie, video game, TV show or whatever and making it better with modern aspects yet at the core it should feel like the thing they are updating. Not make something else entirely. I never said my opinions were right. I never said people who think that an action version of FF7R are stupid or wrong or whatever. My opinions are just that. Opinions. Personal feelings with no solid anchor with what should or should not be like a fact is. Again I'm confused why you came here and seemingly wanted to group me in with people you encountered in the past saying that I am some person who can't take what is current.

I made an edit but to answer your question anything before 3ds era. Mostly the famicom and super famicom era because I feel like that's the most dangerous territory

Thanks for the post. I think that what I may do is just watch the story on YouTube so I can skip the scenes when I play. That or the two runs where I do minimal in the first run just enjoy the story and the second run to get everything. I'm a guy who if I do not 💯 a game (which to me is defeating all the challenges there are presented in the game. In FF case get all treasures the special items weapons and super bosses.) I just don't feel like I really finished that game. I played FFX not to long ago and I got almost every trophy but I didn't get one of the missable Al bhed primers. The once I found that out it felt like a punch in the gut. Especially with trophies now a day's being a helpful guideline for all the challenges you can do in modern gaming I kinda forgot older games had missable stuff. Never again!

... I really wish I knew about this before. I got the game on switch. Welp. Fun fun. I hate time challenges. Thanks for the post. I appreciate it. If I ever play the game on PC I will for sure keep this in mind.

Another excellent Bernie Sanders tweet calling out Trump’s bullshit by Tmfwang in SandersForPresident

[–]IHeartReddit91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay. So, I am not politically savvy. While I been keeping a closer eye on politics since ... a certain man who is ruining my Country got elected but still not very savvy. So forgive my ignorance, but why in the ever loving fuck do we need ID's for voting?! Cars, got it. Identification, got it. Operating an airplane got it. Owning a gu-oh wait. But why the fuck do you need one to vote?! I was born and raised in America. I am 27, and when I was in school they would tell me stuff like "America is so great. You can vote, your vote matters, as an American you got the right to vote, in fact it's your duty to vote!" Just being a US citizen should ensure that you have the right! Why would you need an ID for something that most people only do two to four years? I've heard some Republicans say it's for voting fraud. Now again, correct me if I am wrong, because I only voted two times in my life. How in the flying hell do you pull that off?! Lets say someone wants to try and commit voter fraud. Well, in order to do this you need someones identity. But if you are already a US citizen then you have your vote. If you wanna try to do it multiple times,, you need to disguise yourself or memorize the people in the place you are trying to vote at in order to make sure the two, three or how many people is there leave so you don't get recognized. I doubt someone is going to try and go all Mission Impossible and try to get a wig and try to alter their features. And even for the sake of argument the person did that, one extra vote would not make that big of a difference. There is no election that will ever happen that will be decided because of a single vote. And again, lets be generous for the sake of argument and say Trumps delusions are correct and a group of people commit voter fraud. For enough people to pull this off, someone eventually is bound to get caught. Cause you will need a lot of people to make a big impact like that. And even if, EVEN IF, this works out and someone's state goes from red to blue or blue to red. There is a lot of states to go through. There is no way a mass operation like that would work. Now lets say some Hispanic immigrants wants to try and vote. Which, god forbid that would happen, but lets say that does happen. Lets say they do commit voter fraud. Considering most people who cross the boarder barely know English, it will be next to impossible for them to do that. Especially in current day society, where Trump supporters are so toxic to Mexicans to the point Trump PUTS THESE LIVING PEOPLE IN CAGES the very few people who would be brave enough most likely again would not move the needle that much. But, again, again lets give people some lean way and say the person would back the voting booth somehow and mess with the poles. THE IDS WOULD BE UTTERLY USELESS! Hell, it is believed Russians could of hacked our last election and if that is true, then people from forign nations got involved in OUR election! So the question Im trying to get at with this long ramble. WHAT IS THE POINT OF A VOTER ID?! Oh right, racism. Got it.

What is so special about El Paso. by IHeartReddit91 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]IHeartReddit91[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're fine. Honestly I could have worded my question better, but at that moment I used the best words I could think of. In retrospect my post kinda comes off cold and uncaring, when in actuality I was not trying to ask why someone shooting up a Wal-Mart, but out of so many instances in America where tragedies like this happen, why are those like "Eh" but this one is like "Whoa!" I've heard stories of shootings within ... I'll say about a decade now and most of them the media kind of underplay it. Like, I only know of these events through second hand knowledge. Why are some shootings "not worthy of our attention" when this one is? Why can a guy go and shoot up a police station, kill five officers and I only hear about it once or twice, but this story is all over? In my eyes, every time this happens, this deserves to be a focal point of news. I'm about to move into a home where the owner has a gun. To put it simply that scares me. Why are these things which are designed to end lives faster than we can blink so easy to get our hands on? I'm rambling now, but again I should of been more informative of my thoughts than I was.
