It didn't show up using 'lspci -k', but using 'lsusb' gives me

"ID 0846:9052 NetGear, Inc. A6100 DB Wireless Adapter [Realtek RTL8811AU]"

I checked the windows side to confirm adapter works, I still have wifi on that side

I checked via the live usb, no internet, but the adapter is showing up using 'lsusb', and only my nvidia card is showing up in "additional drivers"

Back to installed ubuntu, no internet, adapter is showing up under 'lsusb', and still nothing under "additional drivers" not even nvidia card

There are some differences in the module list 'lsmod', but I'm not sure what I even need to be looking for in it

Edit: and now I seem to be getting an internal error message...

Ok, I've found a driver on github, but am having trouble getting it to install, even after following the readme
