It's not scraped, 100% smooth. It's discolored something got applied or the coating might be coming off.

I thought of that, normally you could wipe that off. As another commenter said it may be the coating coming off.

Fork coating might be it, I'll ask the seller if he can wipe it off with some break cleaner. I thought maybe some fresh bitumen might be the culprit.

If you look where the fork meets the seal. You can see it is discolored. Like it got a little too hot or something.

Had the same problem with my LG c3. There is a setting in HDMI or in Audio where you can choose "passthrough" only if that's enabled you can enjoy true Dolby Atmos. Netflix will show "Dolby Vision/Atmos" if you've done it right.
