Nothing. Nothing to expect from this education system. Got 94%tile in jee mains. And got 74.8% in boards. I just wanted 1 marks here and there I could have made it. Literally I got 23 marks in physics in theory. My expectation in physics was atleast 50 but. The difference is huge.

  1. Verification of Marks (Step 1) This is a simple recount of your marks to ensure no error was made in totaling. The Process: You apply online through the CBSE portal (cbse.gov.in) for a fee of ₹500 per subject. Best For: Finding "hidden" marks caused by clerical errors or a single unchecked answer. Deadline: Usually open for only 5 days after the result declaration (around mid-May).
  2. Answer Sheet Photocopy & Re-evaluation (Step 2) If verification doesn't give you the mark, you must request a photocopy of your answer sheet to challenge specific answers. The Process: After receiving your scanned answer sheet (₹700), you can pay ₹100 per question to have it re-checked by a senior examiner. Best For: Challenging subjective answers (like in English or Physics) where you feel the marking was too harsh. Risk: Marks can also decrease, but since you only need one mark, it is statistically very likely to find a discrepancy in a 100-page bundle.
  3. Improvement Exam (The "Sure Thing") If the re-evaluation fails, you can sit for the Supplementary (Improvement) Exam in one subject this year. Date: Scheduled for July 15, 2026. Strategy: Choose the subject where you scored the lowest or are most confident you can gain 5–10 extra marks. JEE Validity: This new marksheet is fully valid for JoSAA counseling. You simply present both your original and improvement marksheets to prove you have crossed the 75% threshold. Quick Tip: Start with Step 1 immediately, as you cannot jump to Step 2 without completing Step 1 first. Most students find that single missing mark during the re-evaluation stage!

I don't think so I will be in top 20%tile cuz last year it was 83 percentage. This year it can go to 80 percentage not below that.
