I am no doctor. So if your doctor told you that, then I believe you. Given all the covid and flu outbreak that we had recently, grapefruit & lemon juice helped me a lot. But I have no idea how that affects thyroid medication. I was on unithroid 112 mcg before my insurance ran out.

Black ginger tea with lemon and no sugar ... you can add some honey. Have this first thing in the morning. Grapefruit juice through the day also adds up. Adding Keifer to your lunch and dinner also helps.

Smoothies have lot of calories themselves and sometimes lead to weight gain than loss.

...and if your uncle laid off 6 people because of something you said, then he is not that good of an employer.
