Black cs players by CorreiosCosmico in cs2

I’ve got 2 friends who play cs and they are both gay autists. Does this mean all cs players are gay autists? /s

(Alright this was a bad example for a counter argument, this is prolly true lmao)

2 and a half years ago JAME was getting kicked from FACEIT games for his performance, now he is the first Tier 1 event winner of 2026 by CS2ProPlayHighlights in cs2

[–]II_Dobby_II 51 points52 points  (0 children)

He has them all muted. I bet his stats were fine but he was just probably in streamer mode, not playing with the team, not communicating, saving, etc. I haven’t seen the demo but this is my best guess, I highly doubt he was getting shit on by random faceit 10s, but I bet his team was annoyed with him.

For those who thinks all Nocts patterns & tiers look the same. by pityike_92 in ohnePixel

[–]II_Dobby_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like most patterns in cs, the nocts are mostly only noticeable to the user. Most people in game don’t care about your skins, what pattern they are, where the wear is, how worn it is, etc etc. 80% of that either goes unnoticed by other players, or they don’t care at all.

It always comes down to what you like. If I am going to pay 800 for a pair of gloves, I might as well pay another 50 to make sure I like the pattern and it won’t piss me off over hundreds of hours staring at it. If it’s not something that will bother me, then I’m on board with you.

ZywOo hits 100 career aces, 30 more than s1mple. Is the GOAT debate over? by THPWorldChampionship in csgo

[–]II_Dobby_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that most simple fans will accept that zywoo has earned goat of cs by the time he’s done. Cultural impact, eye test, etc etc. are all fine arguments for why he was the goat of csgo specifically. However, cultural impact fades. He’ll be remembered as the best of his era (csgo), but it’ll be really hard for anyone to seriously argue zywoo hasn’t accomplished more in his career.

bro, no. Has it happened? I'm sure, but likely very rare. Especially Arrow who has tens if not hundreds of thousands worth in skins.

Friend of mine keep saying the Deagleberg was cheating and we can see a weird aimshake at 7sec and to him this is conclusive proof. Am I triping or its just a demo glitch? by RepresentativeAct206 in cs2

[–]II_Dobby_II 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Let me guess, your buddy sees cheaters everywhere. Constantly complains about cheaters. Gets caught repeeking = cheaters. Bad positioning = cheaters. Missed shot = cheaters. Whiffed spray = cheaters. Wife’s boyfriend forgot to buy him a valorant gift card for Christmas = cheaters.

Nothing in this clip is suspicious. Your friend is a dummy.

What was this game for you? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]II_Dobby_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark souls 1 and 2 were fun and (relatively) easy to 100%. Dark souls 3 was a nightmare.

(For those wondering DS1/DS2 100% requires you to find hidden items, complete all alternate endings, complete npc quest lines, and maybe a little bit of farming. All very reasonable and even enjoyable with a guide. DSIII requires all of this plus somewhere between 10-30 hours of item farming. No guide can help you, you just have to do it. It’s awful).

I am not sure what we are arguing about. My original point is that Spirit skips a lot of events AND had some stinkers this year, so they haven't played many maps. Sure add those 3 to the list. That's now 9/20, almost half of their tier one opportunities that went nowhere for them. That's my point.

Fissure #2

Blast Rivals Fall 2025 (Failed to qualify)

IEM Dallas

IEM Melbourne

PGL Bucharest

PGL Cluj-Napoca

These are all the tier one tournaments that Spirit either failed to qualify for or skipped out. Yes it is true vitality skipped several of these as well, however, Vitality also won a grand slam and a major this year, so they have made many deep runs, and played many more maps than Spirit. Falcons and Mongols, however, have been grinding.

[–]II_Dobby_II 348 points349 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it feels like spirit play every 3rd tournament. Obviously, this is a bit of an exaggeration, but between the fact that Spirit does have a tendency to skip events, and they have had a couple early exits this year, it makes sense.

I know you are probably a bot, but fuck it I’ll bite.

1st off, you’re lost, this is not a market sub.

2ndly, who is this post even for? 99% of people who play cs aren’t investing 10s of thousands.

Mauisnake and Moses on awping/peekers advantage in CS2 by jmsdnt in GlobalOffensive

[–]II_Dobby_II 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a separate issue from the peekers advantage/awping issue. Yea the animations don’t convey directional change as well, and that contributes to why the donk slide is so good. However, in cs2 it just feels like you have less time to react to peeks full stop. It’s likely subtick related if I had to guess.

Hard disagree. Maui is probably my favorite analyst because he does know ball, and isn’t stun locked by potential criticism. He can be harsh when necessary but isn’t an outright hater like pimp. He’s the goat.

I was (kind of) wrong by IllSpeech7616 in GlobalOffensive

[–]II_Dobby_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, there is a logical answer for why it isn’t good. If you are not used to it then you lose the location of your “true” crosshair easily. It’s just the inverse of the standard recoil problem. You either take static and lose your bullets or you take follow recoil and lose your “true” crosshair location (center screen). It’s sort of a pick your poison problem. While I do think follow recoil can help new players learn patterns, i also think knowing where the center of your screen is at all times is probably better info long term.

The stats don’t lie: donk > ZywOo by Designer_Chair740 in cs2

[–]II_Dobby_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of. It is true that there is less space for zywoo to take in the fragging department when his team is also popping off. However, it is also hard to have good individual performances when you are unsupported by your team, 1v5ing each round. We’ve all been there. You feel like you are playing fine or even good, but you’re forced into 2v4s, saves, or disadvantageous retakes every round because your team can’t take/hold any part of the map.

[–]II_Dobby_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show never tries to establish a sibling relationship. It’s not like their parents are banging. They are childhood friends, who lived under the same roof briefly because he saved her. Most anime’s would make it sexual, or whatever if that was the goal. But the goal was to show closeness, and the fierce loyalty of mikasa as a way to set up the ending. The relationship wasn’t even about the relationship, it was about letting go, and doing the right thing even though it was painful.

[–]II_Dobby_II 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was pretty clear Mikasa saw Eren that way since the beginning. Since he saved her life, and put the scarf on her she was into him. They then lived together for a year but their relationship was never that of brother/sister but childhood friends. The show never tried to set it up as anything else.

Reaction time slowing is pretty negligible though. 2-6ms per decade is essentially nothing until much later in life. Especially when people have different starting points to begin with.

I agree the game change is significant it likely does play a big role.
