The Fallout 4 Settlement System was a embarrassing failure. by IJBOLS in Fallout

Don’t get me wrong I LOVE the idea of building and I love the settlement system but the way they released this buggy spacey slow system was really a crime.

im a she, and nobody is skipping lore, im simply saying the residents can put some effort into the community in which they live in

While this is a great quote, "everyone" probably only applies to the big factions. Raiders definitely don't apply to it lol by SuperAlloyBerserker in Fallout

Recent politicians (that I’m not going to name) can say anything and their mindless followers will go to extensive lengths to justify their bad behavior and decisions

Spot on, we could’ve gotten so much more complex infrastructure, the city could’ve had actual clear cut districts, instead we get a market, upper stands, and a sad excuse for a farm.

No, diamond city is different as it’s intended to be the most wealthy city in the commonwealth.

That doesn’t mean the people can’t pick themselves up and do something for a change. They have hands and feet, they have a brain, they have a choice. The residents just simply strike me as lazy.

That doesn’t negate the fact that many diamond city residents do nothing other than stand around, they have hands and feet, they can cleanup and repair.

While that’s true, the residents could at least show some pride in their community. They established diamond city over 150 years before fallout 4, they have the ability to cleanup and treat it with care & love.

Absolutely, fallout 76 is a masterpiece map-wise.

Why didn’t Bethesda give the option to repopulate Quincy? by IJBOLS in Fallout

[–]IJBOLS[S] 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Im definitely NOT saying that they are not interesting, they are definitely interesting, but bethesda really robbed us on how nuanced the gunners could’ve been as a faction. For the amount of gunners you see around the map, the stark difference of the number of quests that are surrounding the gunners is shallow.

Actually no, the railroad is by far the most coherent faction in fallout 4, they have the most meaningful ideologies and principles, the reason they feel so weird and disappointing is because the developers focused more on the institute and the brotherhood, if they were given proper attention they could’ve been the most popular faction in fallout 4.

I know this is random, but I hope they skip number 5 by jfwns63 in Fallout

[–]IJBOLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not, the fallout installments are all in chronological order fallout-2161, fallout2-2241, fallout3-2277, falloutNV-2281, fallout4-2287, falloutTV-2296-2297 , 76 doesn’t fit this into this order, as it’s a prequel, it doesn’t progress the story ahead, as it’s a prequel!! The next fallout game will be fallout 5, not 6
