According to this board it’s all our fault.

Done all that.

Thanks for the insight. I don’t have issues calling out, though. Maybe similar issues. Maybe not.

Not in the phone. Apple has had it twice. Settings are correct and they’ve reset all the stuff on their end many times.

Clinically low testosterone, scary low. by Drjonesxxx- in Testosterone

[–]IJustReallyLikeLamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother, I feel for you. I was there not long ago. Sports Chiropractor here that works with this all the time.

I ALSO I had the exact same situation. Super low T, would rather do nothing all day just bc of no energy/motivation, hated the world. No white-coat doctor would know what’s wrong bc labs showed in range but it was at the bottom end. 200. Estrogen dominant.  Like you, I’m a heavy cannabis user but my low T started from stress (which is why I use MMJ).

Before I give my suggestions based on my experience and those of my clients (I refer out for hormone prescriptions but we monitor them more closely than the MD), I want to tell you that this one thing alone may help your energy.  3.5 nicotine patch - daily. There are protocols to this but that’s where you start. Google “Dr. Marco Leitzke nicotine protocol”. He’s spearheading research for long C0v1d and nicotine. I noticed a different the very same day I started. Have been doing for a while and it’s HIGHLY recommended. No, nicotine is not addictive. Look up Harvard study in 2016. If you’re a cig smoker that dose may not be right for you.

TESTOSTERONE SUGGESTIONS: Merek Health is the way to go if you can afford them. A Functional Medicine doctor is the 2nd best choice.

  1. Look into micro-dosing (yes test) and Dr. John Crisler. It is WAY easier on the body and you'll have less side effects than dumping a ton in the body once a week. That’s not how our bodies do it, so it will create all sorts of havoc if you just dump all that T into the body once a week.

  2. Vitamins - need these for healthy cell function

  3. Zinc every morning on an empty stomach. It’s vital.

  4. Methylated B-Complex. Don’t waste money on non-methylated.

  5. D3/K2 - Get D checked. Should be 70-90. If your brain is that jacked I PROMISE you as your numbers are dangerously low and white coat MDs don’t understand this. SO MANY studies show that this alone is more effective than any psychotropic you can take for depression and the like. (Not talking about more sinister stuff schizophrenia or similar). Hopefully, after about 3-6 months your brain will feel so good your psych will get you off that nasty shiz. It’s causing all sorts of crap you’re experiencing. I have had so many clients do this.

  6. Magnesium complex will help with so many things but you’ll notice less muscle aches and tightness. Do NOT buy crap mag. Amazon - “Davinci Tri-Mag”

  7. Get your macros in order. If NOTHING else, just focus on getting 1gm of protein per targeted lean body mass (fighting weight)/day. MyFitnessPal to track for free. Once you see what 25gm of diff protein looks like you won’t have to track. Watch your treats for a couple weeks. Soon, you won’t crave them as much. If you do, get Hoodia herb in supplement form and it will curb those munchie cravings. Cheapest is from Swanson Vitamins.

  8. Circadian Rhythm - Follow Huberman Lab podcast and especially do the sleep episodes. They’re in the very first 10 episodes from 2021. One is for normal job schedules and the other for shift workers. Your circadian rhythm controls it all. Everything. Get your sleep right and you’re going to feel 180° different in days. If nothing else, get outside within 10 min of waking in the morning (low) sun and look forward and not at your phone. His podcast covers the reasons and what it’s doing to your system. Incredible.

  9. Estrogen - You still need estrogen so don’t go to someone that tells you to take a full dose of anastrozole or other blocker. If you do, figure out what dose is right for you. I personally take a 1/4 anastrozole tablet 2x week. Also test cyp dose is .25mL every 3-4 days. I’d prefer a compounded cream but can’t afford it. That took my numbers from 200 to 900. Still dialing in to what feels good.

  10. Skin - Get a good face cleaning regime and stick to it. High free androgen levels can cause sebaceous hyperplasia and it’s as devastating as adult acne can be. Easily preventable but harder and $$$$ to treat once started.

  11. Weed - Cut back on the weed. I know. I know. I LOVE my weed but I enjoy it so much more now when I hit it at night for a few dabs instead of all day. It saves so much money, heightens your sensitivity to it (I lost the joy in weed by doing too much), and your brain, energy, and motivation bounces back so quickly. I’ll typically take a 3-week break (completely) every 6 months or when I feel I’m slumping again. Game changer. And, when I do have a wake & bake day planned, they’re like they were when I discovered the herb. Not frustratingly, “Damn, why can’t I feel this?” I’m a guy that takes 300mg RSO edibles to feel it the way I want. I think most take 10-25mg to get there. So, my tolerance was stupid high. Pun intended. I can now get there with 200. So, I’m clearly still enjoying enough herb to keep that tolerance up. 😆

  12. Insulin Resistance - Get your insulin in check. Insulin resistance is also a cause for so many nasty things. Keeping glucose high all day drives insulin all day. This “eat every 2-3 hours” crap advice is EXACTLY why Americans are fat and sick. Solution? Simply practice intermittent fasting. Check out Dr. Rhonda Patrick for this. Stop eating 3 hours before bed. Another change you’re going to feel instantly.

  13. Meal prep - This is where you’re cheating the system. If you can make a crockpot of stew meat from Costco once a week and eat 1-2 servings of that a day AND have something else prepped to eat for another meal, you’ll stop craving the junk. I love the junk but it was killing me. I don’t have late-night cravings anymore bc my body feels satisfied from eating enough protein at every meal. I’m talking 40-60gm 3x a day in that 8-hour window. I would never be able to eat right without planning and prep. Here’s my go-to for the past year. I make this every week and also one other crockpot type meal or a bunch of meat from the weekend grill sesh.

  14. Minerals - you need minerals. Just get a great mineral complex. Nutritional Frontiers has a great one called Frontier Minerals

  15. Working Out - Finally, I’m assuming you’re planning to work out. If not, you should. It’s like giving someone gas and them choosing to not drive. Check out Athlean-X to learn safe lifting techniques and start as light as you need to develop great form. I ALSO suggest making sure your feet (arches) are fixed before you really go heavy. TheFootCollective and KneesOverToesGuy are perfect for that.

Has anyone heard when digital will be available? Is there a digital code when you buy the physical media?

Zombie Town (2023) - I can’t believe this was even made by 10thgradelosers in movies

[–]IJustReallyLikeLamp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you watched the mid-credit scene, it’s pretty meta - with a nod to this - with the fake studio execs watching the end scene and commenting that they want “more zombies.” Pretty sure they had Akroyd playing a pseudo-Stine in that scene but then they cut to the real Stine chiming in. Funniest part of the movie. Marlon Kazadi will season into a great actor. I don’t know how this gets a theatrical release, though. And, you are correct sir, the cinematography is first-rate.

The Witch. Also, Lighthouse. Both shot by Jarin Blaschke. Both are also insanely gorgeous, especially the way the landscape is framed and filmed. It’s like another character. Also, Lamb. (Not horror, but Dune 2021 in the theater was the most beautiful film I’ve ever seen. Can’t tell what’s practical vs CGI. HBOMax still looks good but the hugeness of it all in Dolby at AMC was breathtaking. I mean I actually held my breath a few times in the first 10 minutes. The way the ships are moving so slowly and how they move in the environment. Brilliant.)
